Love everything--though I do wish order fulfillment/shipping was speedier. On the other hand, I do appreciate a company that doesn't subscribe to our capitalist society's erroneous sense of urgency.

I had the occasion to stop in at the shop at the airport and was just planning to look around. While there I remembered that my cascade backpack strap snap has never fastened. When I asked what Portland Gear could do for me, not only did the sales rep tell me that I could have the bag replaced, she offered to do it right then and there as they had the exact same item in stock. With plenty of time before my flight, I swapped out all my belongings from one bag to the other.

I bought the duffel bag first and was shocked when it didn’t even fit my gym shoes with a change of clothes in it. I returned it, had to pay $20 just for the privilege, researched the alternative product thoroughly, and was shocked again by how useless it is. Would never waste my money here again.
