Both when I initially bought the bike the discrepancy between what they say on the website and what actually happens in shipping is frustrating. Having the website say it's 2 to 5 days delivery and having to wait a month and a half for it to arrive is not a very good showing of customer service. In addition the bike originally arrived damaged and has had constant throttle issues of which I have still heard nothing back on.

this is my second purchase from Wallke My first was a H7. I really enjoyed the bike. Unfortunately it took on 25 inches of water due to Hurricane Hellen. I lost everything including my bike. I did not want another E bike. because one caught on fire and burned my house badly. Ebikes burn they dont tell you that. Having said that. I still bought another. this time the H9. I was so looking forward to recieving the bike.
I live on a island in the Gulf coast. so ebikes are the best to get to work and parking anywhere is easy.
the bike came packaged well. assembly was straightforward. until I tried to turn it on. the key would not turn. the key number matched the lock. I tried till my fingers almost bled. I emailed and called. the phone numbers are absolutely useless. I left messages only to never get a call back.
as far as emails. not much better. the email from Walkee said to turn the key vigorously. WTF. seriously that's what customer service told me. it has been 10 days. still no call. I asked for a return label. no response at all.
I did get a email that for 50.00 I can replace the top of the battery. no part number. no instructions. just a 50.00 highlighted tab. WTF. it made no sense to me. the bike is literally brand new. like never even turned on new. because I cant turn the key to ON.
so I took the back rack off. seems to have to come off to get battery out. kinda dumb design in my opinion.
I took the battery out. the key turned fine.
the issue is the lock bolt was slightly lower than the receiver hole in bike.
I drilled out the hole bigger to accept the lock bolt. now it turns on. no thanks to Walkee.
I feel pretty screwed. there is no customer support. by email or phone.
so basically I bought a disposable ebike. what am I supposed to do if I have another issue. or need a part.
I strongly strongly recommend not buying from Walkee.
the bike is nice and rides well. it's being let down with no way to get parts or customer service.
if you do buy one. pray you never have a problem. or a drill with a big metal bit.
I am so sorry I bought this bike. I would gladly return it and save future headaches of not being able to receive tech support.
looks like I'm stuck with this one. I plan on posting this same review everywhere I can so that maybe I can save someone the hassle i went through.
