It took a bit of practice to get it to seal and a bit more practice to learn how to pull the Genie off the jar. I have it now and was amazed that the test avocado lasted a good 4 days. It may have lasted longer, but I ate it.

Absolutely love it. I have already saved money by using it on my strawberries. They last much longer, I would have had to already throw out a number of them becuase they would have gone bad before I could use them. Thank you.

I love my universal jar opener and lids! I am a long time canner so have an abundance of mason jars. I’m using them for salad greens, homemade salad dressing, veggies, yeast that I buy in bulk, and a variety of other dry goods. The can opener is great for not marking the lids, convenient and easy to use! This product is everything it claims to be!

We are using our Mason Genie several times a day! It seems to be keeping our fruits and vegetables fresh much longer. Also using it on dry items like crackers, oatmeal, nuts, cereal, and also some items in the freezer. Bought one for my daughter also!

I love this little wonder. I have saved avocado for three days and it stays green. Likewise strawberries, chopped lettuce, pinto beans, grains and nuts just in the last week.
Having ready to use food makes meal prep quick and easy and leftovers can be saved as well. This makes meals fresh and makes the best use of grocery money for me.
I bought one for a friend and both my grown children.

I am obsessed with this product. It isn't perfect, but I am a mason jar freak so I love the possibilities. I tested it out on avocado, which is the ultimate test. Unfortunately it only stayed fresh for about 4 days but that's better than a plastic bag. Otherwise I'm in heaven. Great investment

I’ve only used this a few times, but happy with how it works. I wash my blueberries first and after sealing the jar they stay fresh longer even after being washed. I brought back dates from Jordan and using the mason genie keeps them fresh so I can enjoy them longer

I have been using my genie everyday. I’m glad to see my dehydrated goods have a more lasting environment, my leftovers get put into jars and are lasting longer and even hard boiled eggs after peeling do do well. It is nice that the entire fridge doesn’t smell like rotten eggs! I see a new use every day!

This contraption has saved me so much money and waste! I love blueberries, but getting them to stay fresh is a nightmare. When I got the Mason Genie, I bought blueberries, and they were all gloriously firm and fresh. I cleaned and dried them, put them in my jar and used my Genie for the first time. FOUR WEEKS LATER, I still had firm, fresh blueberries (what was left of them), and I was so shocked it took me a whole day to get over it. I use it for everything I can now! I'm so grateful for this t...

I do love it when it seals. Sometimes it pulls the lid back off but I do it once or twice more and then it does feel for me. I also have done my basmati rice and cocoa powder it does keep it fresher longer.

I ordered two more then realized I think you sent me a $5 off coupon which I did not apply and I've been telling people about it but I just ordered it today and I kind of feel sick about it because it's a lot of money and it could have gone money could have gone towards my markers but I love the product I did have one little issue is like I forgot that I hadn't taken the little section out and I actually got a large lid stuck in it and I had to get that out but it's worked great so far I took on...

It was so easy. I loaded a Ball jar with brown sugar, followed the directions and it was sealed. Celery is going to be next! Those are the 2 items I have to throw out because I don't use them often enough. What a great product!

I have started to dehydrate my herbs and food from our garden. I needed a way to preserve them. I admit, I bought a want to be jar sealer (not Mason) because I didn’t want to spend $50.00. I sent it back the day I tried to use it. Then spent the money for the “real” mason jar sealer. Works great. What a great invention.

The Mason Genie is amazing! No longer will I have to throw out millet or cornmeal because I don't use it often and it has gone bad. We love one brand of salsa so much that we buy it by the case; however, a half jar sitting in the fridge will start to mold after a couple of weeks. With the Mason Genie, that will no longer happen! So excited to be less wasteful and save some money.

I had a knock off brand and no matter what I would do, it wouldn’t seal any jars. I bought the Mason Genie just to see if the real deal would work. It’s AMAZING!! It’s so easy to use and seals quickly.

I'd add photos and a video but not sure how.
I use my Mason Genie for all my jarred items. It helps to organize my cupboards, especially the baking section. I also use the bags for freezing my meats, vegetables and fruits. I use bags and jars in my refrigerator. It helps save on space and keeps things fresher longer.

This little genie works great. I have moved all of my dry goods to Mason jars.
The tool is easy to use. It took a little longer to seal than I expected, but it was easy to just walk away and come back.
Knowing that glass will not absorb or transfer odors was what convinced me to order.
Highly recommend!

Wanted to try so as to keep fresh fruit & veggies longer. Have tried a couple items to see how the jars sealed. Worked as directed. Regular and wide mouth jars. Have not tried long term (days) to see how fresh items stay. Trying soon.

Putting delicate foods such as blueberries, strawberries, etc. in the mason jars keeps them from being crushed as they would be if I used the pouch vacuum sealer. The fruits and vegetable in mason jars do stay fresher much longer. A money saver...but more than that...a frustration saver. So many times we have purchased strawberries (for example) for breakfast and are surprised to see mold on the berries and they have to be tossed; which makes breakfast not nearly as tasty as anticipated. I am ve...

First off, I want to say that customer service for this product is very good. I'm not proficient on the computer, and I bought 2 sets instead of one set. When I realized my error a couple of days later, I reported the issue and was refunded the extra order almost immediately. There's something to be said for customer service these days, and these guys have it.

I bought it as a gift for my son’s 46 birthday. I know he will love it but since I bought it when I saw it I have not yet given it to him. He has been a vegan since he was 14 years old. An extremely healthy person. So very careful what he eats and drinks. He has been a cyclist for 20 years racing 100 mile races most weekends. I figured he could transfer most of his energy drink mixes from their original packaging to glass and use your lids to seal them!
