Best kitchen item I have bought in awhile. I seal everything from my dried herbs and spices, flours, granola, etc. For the fridge, I noticed a sharp increase of freshness for my berries, fresh herbs and open avocados. Since getting the Mason Genie, I've started keeping my dog's treats in jars and the freshness is unparalleled. I was using airtight flip top jars prior to getting the Mason Genie. Now I'm hunting for bigger mason jars to hold all my dog treats as well as other things. I can't wait to see how well it does with fresh fruits in the fridge and how much longer it lasts this way!

I'm ecstatic that I purchased the Mason genie! My fruit lasts longer in the fridge, I can make a dry salad and keep it fresh for over a week in the fridge. I bought this because i seen an ad for it on Facebook. Showing how if you store your produce in them and then seal the jars. They will last longer in the fridge. After having it a week or so. I can confirm it is true. Ive put blueberries and strawberries in the jars and seales it up. Its been about a week and they still look as fresh as they did the day i put them in there. I think this is a great idea; A great way to keep things preserved longer. So far I've used it to vacuum seal chicken pieces that I put in wide mouth mason jars and store in the freezer to avoid using plastic. Received it a week ago, so I only have used it a few times. So far, I love it! It was packaged carefully, arrived in a reasonable timeframe along with directions that were very easy to follow.
The unit charged up very quickly, and I used it to preserve some vegetables I had in the refrigerator. So far everything still looks fresh, (but of course it’s only been in the fridge for a little over a week. ) I have no complaints with this product and as of today, I would recommend it.

Got it just before the truck came with fresh peaches, blueberries, blackberries and cherries… after freezing all but the peaches, I kept the berries and cherries in sealed jars in fridge to enjoy fresh. Just resealed each time I got a cup or more to eat. They kept for so much longer than I could’ve before! Gave me more time to enjoy fresh!!
