Nice big stickers to write lots of info. A nice amount on the roll to last awhile. Wonderful chalk lids too. Actually kind of fancied up the jars… a nice bonus. Can’t say enough about this product except to add: Customer service is awesome and extremely quick to respond to emailed questions!

I love that my Mason Genie is small and can be kept ready on my countertop. Instead of plastic, I use Mason jars for storage and the Mason Genie is perfect for frequent use.

I love it, and had my plans for it, before I bought it. Things are in action for it, as of now! I've been redoing all my Spices in my kitchen since I buy them in large quantities. I like to cook, and I must have my spices at all times! There are other reasons I also bought this product. Mason Genie is a real lifesaver!

Universal Jar Opener

Customer's comparison of an incompatible 'strong shoulder' jar (left) and a compatible jar (right) for the Mason Genie.

Mona M.Verified

This is finicky to use, but as with most skills gets better with practice. A few points to consider: -The Mason Genie does not work with older "strong shoulder" jars. See comparison photo. -If removed from the jar at even a slight angle, the seal could break. -If removed from the jar aggressively the Mason Genie rubber comes out of the sealer. -My cheap brand of lid takes two times to seal in ideal conditions. The chalk board lids accompanying the Mason Genie are more reliable, as are my friend'...

This is such a great product and so easy to use. We use it for vegetables, fruits, grains, and more. Did a side by side of a half an avocado using the genie vs half an avocado without. With the genie avocado stayed fresh and green, zero browning after one full week. Strongly recommend. Much better than even expected.

We use this almost daily. Fresh fruits, vegetables and dry foods. Keeps things fresh for much longer than baggies or plastic storage containers. Mason jars are cleaner and look so much nicer than dingy plastic.

What a cool product! A few weeks ago i bought a Mason Jeanie - how cool! Over a week ago I had 1/2 of an avocado & sealed it in a jar with the Mason Jeanie. The avocado is still just beautiful - My husband didn't want to unseal that avocado; so after eating part of a fresh avocado he wrapped it in plastic wrap & put it in the fridge - I threw it away a couple of days later because it looked awful - mine still is in the fridge & looks as good as when I put it in (I want to see how long it lasts)...

Love it, now we need to collect more mason jars as we realize more food items that can be stored. Also, the pantry space has increased without the varied sizes & shapes of multiple containers/bags and all items are clearly visible with labelling!

I used the genie right away; canning seasonings and a couple of staples, so far. I have to find out how much the sealer bags are, before I consider the hand sealer....15 is not much.

The Mason Genie is so easy to use and has added days to the life of fresh berries. Even if I were to never use it for anything else, this alone makes it well worth the purchase. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone!

I’m loving this product! We eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and storing them has become so much easier. Even better, they’re staying fresher longer, which is saving us money—a huge plus. I also appreciate how easy it is to use. Highly recommend!

I had another brand of vacuum sealer that I used for about two years. The sealing with this unit was hit and miss which was frustrating. Since I got your unit it has been success first time every time.

I primarily bought the MasonGenie for two types of food, celery and strawberries, two things that I find go bad on me soon after buying. So far I have been very happy with the performance of the system and my celery is remaining crisp

The Mason Genie is great! It’s easy to use and seals well. I have put a few things in jars and sealed them with the assurance that it will help keep moisture out of my food which will help it last longer here in humid NC. Ingenious little kitchen tool!

This thing is the BEST! I keep it tucked away in my kitchen in a spot with easy access because I use it all of the time! I have seen my fruits and vegetables last much longer than they would have in their original packaging. I use it for everything from fruits/veggies to snack mix and nuts and I'm just getting started!

Wow! This little kitchen gadget is amazing. I love making chopped salads but hate the work of it every day! Now I can make them one day, pack in mason jars, and they are as fresh as that first day! Really!! This product works just as promised and will be a game changer in my fridge. I just hope I don’t wear it out too soon!

NEWBIE USER CONFESSION 🤭...At first I didn't realize there was an adapter on the Mason Genie, so I was disappointed when I tried to vacuum a wide mouth jar and it didn't fit. SO...when I found out you just twist off the bottom portion, I LOVE IT! So easy, just cover the top of your jar, push the button and wait until it stops! I had bought 2 systems and I am so glad, now I can get an assembly line going! 😁

The Genie works great and is keeping my strawberries and celery fresh and crisp. However, I am a little disappointed in the sealing covers. Being so thin, they dented and warped the lip when I opened the sealed jar. I reshaped the lip with pliers but I don't see the lids lasting very long with any amount of use. Respectfully, Don
