I rarely write reviews of products but I had to share my experience with the Mason Genie kit. I eat a lot off veggies and cook for one. It is difficult to but small quantities so have to buy a head of lettuce or big bag of sprouts. By the end of the week , most were soggy and had to be thrown out. Not anymore. In the Mason Genie they are fresh for over a week. I am saving $ by not throwing produce away. Love this product.

Does exactly what they said it would. Took a minute to realize that for smaller lids you detach the sealer from the bottom to accommodate. Even my “not fond of change” husband likes it better and Keeps our lettuce so much longer!

I was very skeptical regarding the Mason Jennie; it just sounded too good to be true. I was totally shocked when After five days in the refrigerator my blueberries, raspberries and blackberries were just as fresh as the day they were purchased. In fact, the blueberries seemed to have a condensed flavor when opened. It’s an incredible product, we use it every day.

I love it! I had just made pickles and the jars didn't seal like they should have so was able to very quickly and easily seal them all so they will be safe for everyone I share them with! Great product! I even bought an extra to share with my brother; he doesn't know yet though. I am sure he will love it, too. I'm very happy with the product so far. I've used it to seal four or five jars and it works very well. I would have liked a bit more explanation that the adapter for the small-mouth jars was the entire bottom of the unit, not just the rubber gasket, but I eventually figured it out. It's only been a few days but the jars are maintaining their seal so far. I've only sealed dry goods so far but I'm going to use it on some fresh produce next to see how well it works at keeping it fresh!

One suggestion would be to include the tip with regards to opening with a second lid on top before you use the opener . Should be included in your up front marketing. I love my mason genie. It keeps my berries and veggies good for twice if not three times longer than normal. I did have some issues after about 6 months of my device dying after only 2-3 uses and not fully charging. I contacted mason genie and Marie was so quick to help. I received my product and went right to the test phase and sealed up fresh strawberries in a jar and left the rest in the plastic packaging. The ones in the Mason Genie stayed fresh and perfect for a couple of weeks and the ones in the plastic started to deteriorate like usual within a few days. I love that this system actually works for preserving food. My blueberries are just washed and sealed in the jar still wet. They have stayed fresh for over a week. My salad jars stay fresh for my work lunches and I don’t have to worry about oil or juices leaking. The only issue I have is that it won’t release off of the wide mouth lids from my jars, I seem to have to use the Mason Genie lids. I really love the product. The only thing I do not like is that many times I cannot seem to get the canister off the jar. I need to use a lot of force to lift it and then other times that it lifts very easily. The only other issue I have is maybe two times out of six the lid does not seal and I have to redo it but otherwise I really love your product. I bought a few to give to my friends and I’m sure they’re all going to be very happy.

The seal on the adapter for the small lids was so tight initially that it pulled the lids off the jars when when I took the Mason Genie off. I got the Mason Genie to better keep the pesto we make from our garden in the fridge (we make big batches and store them in quart jars). It works great! Super easy to use and the seal is really good. It's too early to tell how will it will extend the life of the pesto, but I definitely feel better being able to seal and re-seal those big jars after each use!
