It’s nice and very authentic, but obviously not suitable to make the matcha in it, because it is to rough for the whisk (the bristle breaks easily), so I would use it for serving.

The taste is somewhat more bitter than ceremonial matcha, and the "grassy" aftertaste remains. It also feels grainier on the palate. However, I still find it good to put in matcha latte and to use in place of ceremonial matcha latte, especially given the scarcity of the product. I also think it's great that this matcha is done following the same process as for the cerimonial one, and that is without pesticide. I'll definitely buy this again:)

Nice to experience different types of matcha. Sometimes you get some matcha that is not your taste though. In the other hand you can also experiment very nice and new flavors. I think it would be nice if we could review the ones we like vs dislike and so, the next delivery could take that into account for the matcha selection.

Really enjoyed the sampler pack! There was definitely a heavier weight on senchas but it was nice to get to try to many different types and flavors! I’ve been ordering the Fukamushi sencha from nio teas for quite some time now. It’s a remarkably consistent tea that is both great quality and complexity. It really puts the green in green tea and the tasting notes that nio teas puts up are spot on. I highly recommend trying this Sencha and accompanying it with a light but meaningful bite of mochi (taro and lychee cut in particularly well in my experience).
