I bought it for the umami profile and it didn't disappoint on that part.... though I must say that it wasn't as sweet and did have a fair astringency... the umami could've been complemented by a more subtle and sweet profile. The teapot arrived in perfect condition, with no marks or scratches. It looks beautiful, just like in the product picture, and brews excellent tea! I’m not an expert, but the difference between tea brewed with it and my other teapot, with the cup-shaped mesh strainer, is clear! More flavors come out, and the overall profile changes— and improves. The beauty of the piece and the fact that it is a traditional pot also speaks in favor of it.

I have been drinking this Matcha for a while and I still appreciate the sweetness, thickness and low acidity. The only thing that has changed is the size, it used to be 40 grams and it is now 30 grams. With the price increase and the size decrease it is now more expensive.

The tea is excellent and I love that they all come with instructions on brewing each one properly. The Nio team were also super helpful as I had a bit of an ordering snafu.
