I was nonplussed, at first, because of the tea's unfamiliar appearance. But my goodness, the flavor is delightful. Make sure the water is well-filtered, because the taste of chloramine ruins a cup of tea. I use water at about 60° C. (140° F.), and steep the first pour for 2min. Delicious!

Fresh and beautiful Matcha from the Gyokuro Master. This is on par with some of the most expensive and best Organic Matcha's from other vendors if not better. Organic is truly the only way to go especially when consuming the whole plant. This is a beautiful sample pack of Matcha. I appreciate how each package tells you exactly how to prepare it. So far I’ve tried 2 very different varieties in terms of flavor. There is only a teaspoon in each package so the Matcha is usually a 3oz serving but they tell you how much water to use on the package. I recently went to Japan and felt I did not try enough Matcha so I was happy to find this sample pack so I could continue trying different Matcha!

You have to understand , this is not your regular tea. It has a distinguish smell because of the roasted rice. The first time I tried it, I did not like it at all. However, now it is one of my favorite teas. I drink it in the evenings. It is very comforting: warm, nutty and mildly savory taste.

A hojicha latte is a wonderful replacement for a coffee latte or hot cocoa - it is chocolatey, nutty, creamy. Biscotti tastes amazing dunked in it, and the lower caffeine content allows it to be drunk any time in the day. I am pleased with the delivery and quality of the tea.

The matcha has a very strong flavour. I am used to drinking matcha daily and my personal experience with this specific matcha is that 2g is more then enough for 1 portion. The foam is incredible and the flavour is very strong.
