I love the tent. Had some issues with it early on but the customer service was outstanding, next level. I highly recommend this tent. I absolutely love it... The only thing better than this tent, was the customer service

Let me start by saying the customer services and support, provided by Haven, is second to none. Unfortunately, in todays day and age, we have become tolerant of little to no support. I had some questions about my equipment and I immediately received a call from the owner!!! Aces! In regards to the product itself I love it. Im 6’ , 250lbs, grumpy and all thumbs, I set this Haven Safari up with ease. The flat lay was incredible and the insulated pad kept me warm all night. The rain fly kept me ...

I’ve had the hammock for over a year now and can honestly say it gives me the best sleep I’ve ever had in a hammock. I’ve been hammocking for years and own numerous hammocks. The XL blows the socks off of them all. I use daisy chain tree straps and also whoopie slings when required, both make setting up really easy. The hardest part is pumping up the mattress. I’ve made a couple of tweaks for the colder weather and have a wool blanket and an underquilt. They work perfectly. All in all a fantas...

This was a great purchase! My test of the tent was an overnight Moto-Camping trip to a lake in central Oklahoma. Setup was intuitive and simple. I also purchased “The Works Bundle” and the air pump made quick work of inflating the insulated XL mattress to the right pressure. After dark, the ridge lights made getting in and “sorted” much easier. All the internal storage pockets made keeping stuff out of the way easy. I’m a side sleeper and I was comfortable. I think there was less pressure on my ...

I downsized from the XL to a standard... big thanks to Derek and Haven for letting me trade it in. I wanted the XL for the leg room not realizing it was designed for larger framed people. At 150lbs 5'-8" I'd either have the pad rock hard, or sink into the middle, occasionally I could get it just right, but it was too much trial and error. I've only laid in the standard model for a part of an afternoon and almost dozed off with no sleeping bag, at -2*c but the sun beating on me.. It is so comf...

Once you figure out how to set it up at the angle that serves you best for your head to be slightly higher up and filling the air mattress just the right amount. The tent is very comfortable and spacious. I don’t usually leave reviews for anything but this product is worth writing a review for. It’s totally worth the money. Also just for context, I bought the Safari because I don’t complain about weight and will definitely be taking it on treks around the Himalayan region. I’m 5’10 and weigh abo...

I can’t say enough about the Haven Safari. It is extremely easy to set up, comfy, spacious and made with high quality thick durable materials. Everything was definitively thought out when designing the Haven, from storage to accessories. I am part of a group of friends that enjoy canoeing/camping excursions throughout Ontario and originally had another lay flat hammock (great product). One of the guys from my group purchased the Haven. I loved it so much that I decided to purchase one for my...

Holy moly this is so much better. Might be partly because this one didn’t leak on me, but the material is better, the valve is better (no more little flap to have to mess with inside the valve). I love it, it is amazing!!! I was at Bentonville Bikefest and camped out the night that the tornado went through Bentonville and Roger’s. I would have slept through the tornado if not for my group waking me up to get me to shelter. I love that I do to have to put as much air in it now making it a softe...

Didn't think the XL could be any better then I tried the true level pad.....at 250 pounds I was able to sleep on my back, my side, stomach, you name it! I was able to sleep through bad storms all night high and dry, and now flat thanks to the brilliant minds at haven tent!

I was skeptical about this hammock. It’s hard to imagine being able to sleep flat in a hammock. And it took some practice to get it right. At first it dipped too much in the middle. Then I raised the head side too far. Let’s just say there’s a learning curve. I’m used to a regular hammock. But once I got it, it was amazing. Such a great idea. I move around a lot when I sleep so there was some movement with the pad, but I fell asleep and slept so well I didn’t move as much as I usually do. You sh...

Have used the Haven XL several times this summer and have been impressed. Going to put it to the test here later this month. Going up into the Smokey Mountains for 7 nights. I did have a issue with a zipper and Haven sent me a new hammock in a few days. Great Customer support. Will see how it does this fall and winter Highly Recommend and would purchase again

I didn't expect to like this hat as much as I do. I ended up ordering a 2nd one just to ensure I always have one handy. First off, is the "stash" pocket that I can throw $5-10 in just in case I forget cash for a day use fee at a park or hiking trail. Secondly is how nicely this thing folds up to go in a pocket on a pack or cargo pants. I also appreciate how the hat doesn't interfere with my glasses at all, which seems like it shouldn't even be a thing but some hats come down so far they hit ...

The comfort of this tent far exceeded my expectations. I was expecting it to be comfortable but really I got a way better sleep than expected. Being 5'9" I had ample space to sleep on either back/side/stomach. If you are on the fence to purchase, this is the sign you needed to pull the trigger and add it to your cart.

My Haven hammock/tent was ever easy to set up and take down. I was also able to fit the hole system in to my hiking back pack. I was able to have my bag/gear inside this hammock and sleep extremely comfortable. My kids loved it too, they wanted to witch tents so that both my boys could sleep in it. Im probably going to be picking up two more for my boys. We all loved it very much

I was able to experience the full force of “storm mode” on night one in the boundary waters. Like any new set up, I was anxious about how it would perform in pretty harsh rain. I woke up dryer than a ritz cracker! It’s such an easy set up. Enjoy relaxing in your haven while the rest of your group struggles setting up and debating if they are going to fall out of their hammock or not.

I love sleeping in hammocks and rafting with my friends. In the past, only bringing a hammock meant that sometimes I had to sleep on the boat, or bring both a tent and a hammock. With the Haven, I can combine the two. A hammock on the ground! It's also great that The Haven fits perfectly in my dry bag. It was a perfect purchase for what I need in a hammock/tent!

hello Heven yes hi here comes my point of view, you were super quick to send me a new Haven XL, I really appreciate that fast and friendly as well as helpful, super 5 stars from here on that area. Yes, I have been on a single night in the new Haven XL and I am super satisfied with it, I lie super well in it and I am glad that you have put longe straps on the XLs as well. However, I am not completely satisfied with the tarp as it is not completely waterproof, but I have my own large tarp that I p...

All I could do is the throw the rule in the tent and go from there it was pouring like water out of a bucket. 5 men 10 days in Africa. Finding a location for an orphanage and radio station in the mountains. The Haven tent was used by 3 of the 5 men. Those of us that had Haven tents were without complaint. We slept great, our gear stayed inside and dry using the Ridgeline and carabiners. We had no mosquitoes or rain in our tents. No bugs or snakes in our gear because we were off the ground. We have zero issues with the Haven tent. 2 of the 5 men did not have Haven and are tossing their other brand and ge...

After a long day of riding I found setting up the Haven Safari real easy for being the first time I unpackaged it. I also like that the storage/travel bag is big enough to roll everything back up and easily get everything back in the bag. I found the setup to be very comfortable and I slept great. My body didn’t ache when I got up and I felt recovered from the day before. So far I’m really impressed with the set up and have just ordered a Haven XL for my wife.

I am primarily a hammock camper and love the traditional hammock. I am also a side sleeper and have no problems with a traditional hammock. However, when I learned about the Haven Safari, I couldn’t wait… but did. Almost a full year. It’s actually incredibly well priced and an incredible value. I’ve been waiting for months for the Haven Safari after I preordered it. I actually ordered the camo thinking it was the digital camo that is offered with the XL. I am so excited to be comfortable! I am taking my Haven to Havasupi Falls which is a 11 mile hike down into the Grand canyon. I am 43 and do not sleep well on the ground. I tested the Haven out and it was so comfortable. I am pretty sure I will be getting the best sleep in that whole camp thanks to my new Haven tent. This tent is amazing.

I bought the Haven Safari to have a compact tent for motorcycle camping. It did not disappoint. I'm 6'8 and around 280 lbs. Setup was easy. I found the only two trees at the campsite I could use. While waiting for the rest of my crew to show up I thought I'd take a little siesta. It was lights out. Never had better sleep in a tent than this. It just so happened to be raining pretty good the whole 48 hours we were camping and i stayed perfectly dry in my haven safari!

I purchased a Haven Tent so I could go backpacking for the first time with my husband. I have been hesitant to go as I have back issues but decided to just try it out after months of my husband suggesting I get my own. After two nights in the trees, I will never tent camp again! What a difference the Haven made for my back and our camping experience. Set up and take down took less than fifteen minutes. Every piece is so thoughtfully made. You can cocoon yourself in the tent with the rain fly or ...

I did a Moto camping trip on the MABDR, 1080 mile route of dirt, gravel and back road pavement. It was easy set up. Easy take down as we were moving every day. Only 8 pound. My previous set up was 30 lbs. very comfortable. Layed in the hammock with half the rain fly deployed on the bank of the river. It’s the only way I roll now. I had a problem with the air mattress loosing air after only one year of using and they replaced it free of charge and no hassles. Thank you Haven. You are class act…...

great hammock, I used an extra strap running down the middle to prevent it from tacoing.. it worked ok untill it slipped out of place. I got jeep cargo netting under it now and it lays completely flat and is so much better. Just check out Haven hammock hacks on youtube.. my video will be up soon, but there are plenty of other videos that show the same "hack"

This tent saved my ass! I was deep in the Brazilian Amazon of Acre, with bugs and critters. I slept in this for a week and was more comfortable than I have ever been in the jungle. Being able to lay flat on an air mattress and move around in a hammock was a God sent! I’m a big girl and this tent held up. Never again will I camp on the ground. This tent hammock is exactly what is needed for the jungle. I cannot say enough positive things about this.

So comfortable in my Haven and used the air mattress pad for the first time. It added warmth, kept me from slipping and completely took out the noise factor. I’m very happy with this addition. First use in the mountains of northern New Mexico and the Haven tent was awesome! I am 6’3” and 230lbs. Kind of skeptical at first but have to say best sleep I’ve had in the woods lately. Easy to set up but there is a learning curve on how to get the primo height. I did use it in both the hanging and ground configuration. The sleeping pad was very comfortable. The temperature dropped to the mid 30s at night and pad did keep things pretty toasty. We had several bouts with heavy rain and hail. The...
