First use was a 4 night stay that dipped down into 35 degree weather, stayed pretty warm with just a sleeping bag. Heavy wind and rain the first night kept me up with the rain fly noise (to be expected). Overall it’s a awesome product, great for bro’s trip or solo camping. I will definitely enjoy it more when it’s a little warmer to keep the fly open or rolled up!

The Haven Safari Tent is like none other, they just simply are not comparable! Haven is made better, fit better, and lasts better than any other hammock/tent I have ever owned! This ingenious American Made Camping Comfort brings a whole new dimension to finding peace in nature!

These whoopie strings are so easy, I literally hooked them up to my haven XL. Pulled the them right and I was done. They lasted through the weekend of camping with heavy winds and no issues at all. Makes it super versatile and robust in using. With conventional straps are nice but these add twelve feet of reach and let me tell you how nice that is.

Put my Safari to the test in driving rain and 35mph wind for 14 hours. Spent a lot of time sideways! In all that time only about a half cup of water worked it’s way inside. A regular tent would have collapsed, but I was never concerned in my Haven Jeff P

I ordered the XL hammock, true level pad, air pump, ridge lights and whoopie slings! He hammock and pad blew me away with how comfortable they were! Everything exceeded all expectations, but there was a little hiccup. The ridge lights only lit up for a little over a foot of the whole strand. I filled out the very small return questioner and attached a pic of the lights. Not a single question was asked from Haven about the issue. I had a brand new set of Ridge Lights delivered in 3 days fr...

I haven’t taken it out in the bush but I set it up on my deck and it seems to work quite well. Stitching and straps are strong. Doesn’t lay flat as a bed but definitely flatter than a traditional hammock. Seems I can lay on my side with it with no problems.

I absolutely love my Haven Tent! I talk about it every chance I get whenever I am with people that I know enjoy camping. I’ve had a few chances to really put it to the test and have had my son try it also. We recently were camping and had heavy rains. I didn’t even guy out the rain fly, I just buttoned it down and it did an exceptional job of keeping out the rain!

I've been following this company since they kick-started a few years ago, but wasn't in a position to buy one due to location. Finally purchased one, and I have to say that I am beyond impressed. It arrived later in the evening, and I found a nearby campground to go ahead and get it set up at, and it was super comfortable. Arguably one of the best nights of sleep I've had camping before! It is a bit of a learning curve on how to set it up properly to start, but if you take your time in the initi...

This Haven was bought for my husband. He had knee surgery and sleeping in a regular hammock really hurts his knee/leg. We went camping last night and it was awesome. He slept so good. I could hear him snoring all night. When he got up this morning he was able to get right up and out of the Haven. Thank you. Putting up and taking down the Haven is so easy. I am now ready to purchase one for me!

I'm a newbie to hammocking. I'm 66 years old, 5' 11" and 186 lbs. I'm a side sleeper, don't like shoulder confinement, and have arthritic hips and back. Bottom line, I'm not the ideal candidate to hang like a burrito from a tree. But all my life I have loved the outdoors and camping. Haven tent/hammock opened up that world again for me. The design of the flat laying hammock shattered my worst fears. Extreme comfort, no shoulder, hip or back pains. Haven is the Heaven of hammocks... but what do ...

Finally got to go camping/hiking this past weekend. My XL Heaven hammock was a breeze to set up. Sleeping was so comfy. Used the heaven air pump to inflate my pad, worked like a breeze. Also great for getting our camp fire roaring. Great weekend. Planning on camping/hiking on the Appalachian Trail in a couple of weeks.

Just rode nearly 15,000 km (9,000 miles) on a two-month motorcycle trip across the USA, camping most nights in the Haven Safari — and it crushed it. Easy setup (even in rain), bone-dry inside, and super comfortable for a side sleeper like me. Even in parks where I couldn’t hang it from trees (Joshua Tree, Redwoods), the true-level air mattress kept it quite comfortable on the ground. My only regret? Not getting the patterned rainfly. This tent helped make the trip a success — worth every penny...

It was a Friday- it was about 5 o’clock when I showed up on site. It took about 15 minutes to set the Original Haven on the ground. I placed a reflective blanket at the bottom of the Haven -inflated the 24 inch insulated pad, put it inside, added the haven pad cover, and then put a couple of sleeping bags (one inside the other )- folded down the rain fly and then hung out until about 1 am by the fire. The temperature got down to 26° according to my iPhone, but my thermometer said 11° and it was ...

This is a very nice hammock for Car, Motorcycle and Bicycle camping, too heavy for me to backpack. Easy to set up, tear down and comfortable. The two things I would change, 1-I’m 5’9” 190lbs plenty long but narrow, I would like an XL. 2-The zipper is really tight at the middle when sitting in side, failure point for me. Other than that it was great! Tony C Santa Clara Ca.

I'm so satisfied with my Haven Tent XL, I bought my second one 2 years later. Now my Wife (for the first time) is camping with me here at Yellowstone National Park (Grant Village). Thanks for the comfort and possibly the only two getting their best sleep. Appreciate the quick delivery and awesome product. Mike G.

When camping, I have slept on the ground, in a tent, in a hammock and on a cot. I received the Haven XL and set it up in the back yard to get the feel for setup and variations. Easy to set up. Easy to adjust. Easy to take down and pack. Very comfortable with my sleeping bag and pillow. I have a 70lb Labrador so I came up with a hack to support both of us. I put my XL wide cot underneath with a pad for insulation and cushioning. We get the feeling of cushioned ground yet still in a hammock above ...

Had my first night in this amazing tent/hammock! I’ve researched this company for about a year and it lived up to the reputation. Amazing comfort level. The only reason I didn’t sleep through the night was temperature- and that’s my issue, not Havens. I’ll bring a warmer bag next time. The ridge light was super easy to use- and I was surprised when I found out it had different light levels! Loved the dim mode for the 2a bathroom break. I showed my friends some pictures of this sleep system an...

I recently upgraded with the Safari True Level Pad and the insulated pad cover. Finally I am 100% happy with the Haven Safari. The difference in comfort from the original pad is worth the upgrade, it holds air much better and is a lot quieter with the pad cover. My camping opportunities are limited right now since becoming a full time care-giver for my mom, but I can hang the Safari on my porch and sleep outside anytime....it's that comfortable. I like to kayak camp and the Safari is too h...

I sleep great in it, the only thing I hate is, that my backpack (80liters) is too big to hang in the tent. I only camp outdoors in youthcamps, wich means, that I have to change my underwear in my sleeping bag/hammock as to not expose myself to minors, wich results each time in a violent swing of the whole hammock wich means I have to wait a bit to swing out. But otherwise its great

This pad is amazing in the fact that it reinforces the entire Haven lay flat system. I bought both the hammock tent and pad combo system for a motorcycling trip across the back country in Oregon. After a long day riding good sleep is essential for the next day. This pad system is comfortable, very supportive and kept me at a great sleeping temperature out in the high mountains at night. It inflates fairly quick with the included billow sack inflation system. It took about the same time for water...

Preface - I'm not a huge outdoorsy person and have done very little camping in my life. My friends & I decided to do a Boundary Waters trip & I needed to get a tent I could portage in with. I knew for my BWCA trip I wanted something really comfy to sleep in and could set up anywhere. I was told there are a ton of uneven camp sites in the BWCA with lots of roots & rocks that you have to deal with. So that all lead me to look at Hammock tents. Enter Haven. My buddy sent me a link to Haven as...

This is the best sleep I’ve had camping in a tent. Fairly easy to set up. I’ve had a couple back surgeries and I have been looking for a better way to camp in a tent. This is it. This will change the way you camp in a tent. Paired with the zenbivey sleep system. Makes this tent even better. Thanks Haven Tents for putting together the best sleep I’ve ever had in a tent.

Set it up and spent that night in it. LOVED it. I’ll be honest. The set up wasn’t as intuitive or explained as well as I would hope. It took me some time. But once I set it up I found how easy it is! They need a more descriptive video in YouTube. I’m tempted to make my own for instruction challenged people like me…. lol. But I cannot wait to take this motorcycle camping. It will be a game changer!!

Camping 30 miles East of Bennington VT last weekend. Temp down into the high 20's. The new insulated pad was the BOMB ! toasty warm w my LL Bean bag. This new pad does not shift around nearly as much as the prior design. I love my hammock...I have two tents in my truck, but I haven't used them since I bought the Haven :)

Great time camping thru the Rockies in Alberta with the Haven XL Safari Decided to get the Haven Stand by YOBOgear so I wouldn’t be tree dependent and allow for campsite mobility as needed. I’m currently lounging in my treeless backyard, a little sway and a cold sip , loving life. I see neighbours peering over so it’s soon time to give my free sales pitch :)

I tried out this tent and spent the night in it, and honestly, it was a perfect experience. Every detail, from the quality of the tent itself to the mattress and the built-in lighting, was really impressive. I also used the additional strap that you hang between two trees—no knots needed, you just pull it tight and it holds. That way, you’re sleeping comfortably and flat between the trees, no curve in your back at all. It’s a really awesome invention. I definitely recommend it to anyone who want...

Overall, the Spectre tent has been a wonderfully comfortable camping experience with the little experience I’ve had with it. Pros: -It’s super lightweight, making backpacking with it (theoretically) not hard at all -The tent itself packs down nice and tight, not taking up a ridiculous amount of space. I love how it can strap onto the pad, making it one bundle, but end up not using that feature too much. -The transparent material makes waking up to the sun in the mornings supremely enjoyable -...
