I used my Spectre once on my farm property woods in middle Tennessee so did not have to carry in backpack. First time set up fairly easy and straightforward. The best sleep I’ve ever had in a tent. I’ve had two back surgeries and I love to go camping. Traditional tents are out of the question. This tent is amazing. I have been camping With a traditional camping hammock for about 15 years now, it has served me well but the Haven has completely changed the way and comfortability in which i now camp. Following my 3rd night in the Haven Tent Safari, I have to give it 5 stars. It probably provides the best night camping I have ever had in over 50 years, other than in a trailer. I have slept on a cot, air mattresses, sleeping pads, and on the ground through the years. The thoughtful design truly delivers on lay flat capability and comfort. I purchased 2 of the safari hammock tents with insulated pads...whoppie string... ridge lights and pump charger in November. It's now spring and we are putting them up. My rating....11 out of ten. I got my Haven tent at the end of June, and by the middle of July, I had spent a weekend camping and 4000 km of motorcycle riding, sleeping in it every night. Very easy setup that was easier and quicker each time I did it. Except for my last night of the bike trip, setting it up after dark in rocky mountain forest using whoopie slings. I had given up on hammock camping. I'd never really been comfortable due to the fact that I'm a side sleeper. I had resided to being a ground dweller forever more. Main take away is it’s very easy and quick to setup once you figured it out. Probably takes me 5 mins to setup and 3 mins to take down. Fits well into the back of my kayak and small enough to bring other things. I did a 75 mile kayak trip down a river for 3 nights. I bought the XL back in November for a trip to the Amazon in Ecuador. A week before I left I contacted Customer service and told them I needed the Powerpack. They sent it out to me right away.
