Definitely lived up to everything I'd heard and read about it. Easy to setup, comfortable, and kept me warm in my sleeping bag even at roughly 30°F before wind chill (I do have the insulated pad cover as well). Easily one of the highlights of the trip. Packed up nice and easy as well.

We picked these up for ourselves for Chrismas 2023 and set them up right away to use. My husband builds extreme weather sleeping bags and clothing and of course wanted to try them out in the hammocks! One night it got down to 11° and another to 5°. We had to do a little adjusting to the airmatress due to the air freezing in those temperatures and feeling cold on our backs; basically, we covered them with the material my husband uses for his products and that took care of that winter-related pr...

I purchased my Haven in November and didn't get to use it until the end of February, took an over night motorcycle camping trip into Oklahoma, set up was a bit of a learning curve but I have it down now, the hole system works great, had a problem with the pad holding air over night, contacted haven and they sent me a new pad. Had it in less than a week, looking forward to using it again and again.

I purchased 2 of the safari hammock tents with insulated pads...whoppie string... ridge lights and pump charger in November. It's now spring and we are putting them up. My rating....11 out of ten. I am a large man and on my side I slept like a king floating on air. With the rain flap in storm mode you can go through a downpour and stay 100 dry. The shipping was prompt. It's everything the videos show it to be. I'm using a couple as guest quarters for friends. Thank you haven tent for an awesome ...

It’s not a hammock, it’s a Haven! Set it up and hopped in after an 11 mile hike on the Nā Pali Coast. Didn’t want to get back out. Luckily didn’t need the rain fly but having the additional accessories was all I needed to get a good night’s rest for the hike back out. Love it and will probably use it every time instead of a tent when I camp from now on.

The Haven XL was a perfect fit for me and my dog! I prefer to hammock camp, but end up tent camping when I bring the pup along. The Haven was the perfect solution! I slept off the ground and got to bring my camping buddy along!

I did a two day overnight on current river (Ozark national scenic riverway) near Eminance, Mo., on December 9-10. It was in the 30’s, and overcast. My Haven functioned perfectly. Quick and easy to set up, very roomy, warm, and comfortable. Easy to get in and out. Exceeded my expectations. The haven is heavy-as expected. I ordered and wanted a robust warm setup for winter camping. I received exactly what I wanted.

Me and my daughter often camp in the woods. My daughter already have the regular Haven tent. Since she got her, I have been saving for the Haven Safari. It was worth the wait. The sleeping experience is absolutely fantastic.

I am 6’3” 240lbs I switched from a regular hammock to the Haven Tent Hammock and it is one of the best decisions I made for back country camping. Set up and takedown is a breeze. On my first night in the the hammock there was a thunderstorm and the hammock kept me warm and dry while I watched the rain. It’s a great hammock get one you won’t be disappointed

Great idea, very practical solution. Prevents tearing of the material, which happened to me in the previous version. The HavenTen team reacted quickly and sent me a new hammock with these covers.

First use was a 4 night stay that dipped down into 35 degree weather, stayed pretty warm with just a sleeping bag. Heavy wind and rain the first night kept me up with the rain fly noise (to be expected). Overall it’s a awesome product, great for bro’s trip or solo camping. I will definitely enjoy it more when it’s a little warmer to keep the fly open or rolled up!

I love my Haven tent. It’s easy to set up and very comfortable. Had a problem with pad leaking, but customer service handled the problem without hassle. It’s just a little heavier than my traditional hammock, but the comfort makes it worth it.

As a Scoutmaster. I camp all the time and I love my Haven Tent & the Lights & Small Compressor make it even more convent. Super simple setup & the most comfortable hammock I've even used(as a side sleeper). And the Whoopie strings make it easy to setup anywhere and I now use them all the time, because it makes all trees close enough! And, the best part about the Works Bundle is that is all also fits in the original Haven Tent bag. Thank You!

I haven’t taken it out in the bush but I set it up on my deck and it seems to work quite well. Stitching and straps are strong. Doesn’t lay flat as a bed but definitely flatter than a traditional hammock. Seems I can lay on my side with it with no problems.

I got my Haven tent at the end of June, and by the middle of July, I had spent a weekend camping and 4000 km of motorcycle riding, sleeping in it every night. Very easy setup that was easier and quicker each time I did it. Except for my last night of the bike trip, setting it up after dark in rocky mountain forest using whoopie slings. It sagged a bit too low and a sharp stick punctured my air mattress. I've patched it up and it's good as new, but at 5'10" and 195 lbs, the base model was a bit...

Sets up fast , very comfortable laying down, napped right away!! Love the bug netting and the fly can work as shade cover and storm protection. Fantastic . Wish I had this when I tented across the country in my twenties. George

After multiple nites in my Haven Safari XL & upgraded True Level Pad, I can say that it’s a game changer. Derek and the Haven Team knock this out of the park. After initially inflating the pad, I never added any more air what-so-ever. In fact, I let some out for my personal comfort!. It is truly a sleep level pad for the Haven Tent Hammock!

I'm a newbie to hammocking. I'm 66 years old, 5' 11" and 186 lbs. I'm a side sleeper, don't like shoulder confinement, and have arthritic hips and back. Bottom line, I'm not the ideal candidate to hang like a burrito from a tree. But all my life I have loved the outdoors and camping. Haven tent/hammock opened up that world again for me. The design of the flat laying hammock shattered my worst fears. Extreme comfort, no shoulder, hip or back pains. Haven is the Heaven of hammocks... but what do ...

When camping, I have slept on the ground, in a tent, in a hammock and on a cot. I received the Haven XL and set it up in the back yard to get the feel for setup and variations. Easy to set up. Easy to adjust. Easy to take down and pack. Very comfortable with my sleeping bag and pillow. I have a 70lb Labrador so I came up with a hack to support both of us. I put my XL wide cot underneath with a pad for insulation and cushioning. We get the feeling of cushioned ground yet still in a hammock above ...

This is a very nice hammock for Car, Motorcycle and Bicycle camping, too heavy for me to backpack. Easy to set up, tear down and comfortable. The two things I would change, 1-I’m 5’9” 190lbs plenty long but narrow, I would like an XL. 2-The zipper is really tight at the middle when sitting in side, failure point for me. Other than that it was great! Tony C Santa Clara Ca.

This pad is amazing in the fact that it reinforces the entire Haven lay flat system. I bought both the hammock tent and pad combo system for a motorcycling trip across the back country in Oregon. After a long day riding good sleep is essential for the next day. This pad system is comfortable, very supportive and kept me at a great sleeping temperature out in the high mountains at night. It inflates fairly quick with the included billow sack inflation system. It took about the same time for water...

Haven Safari kept me dry and warm through thunderstorms and snowstorms last archery season and I slept like a baby. Ordered the XL to save some weight on the long hikes into the back country this year.

I ordered the XL hammock, true level pad, air pump, ridge lights and whoopie slings! He hammock and pad blew me away with how comfortable they were! Everything exceeded all expectations, but there was a little hiccup. The ridge lights only lit up for a little over a foot of the whole strand. I filled out the very small return questioner and attached a pic of the lights. Not a single question was asked from Haven about the issue. I had a brand new set of Ridge Lights delivered in 3 days fr...

Had my first night in this amazing tent/hammock! I’ve researched this company for about a year and it lived up to the reputation. Amazing comfort level. The only reason I didn’t sleep through the night was temperature- and that’s my issue, not Havens. I’ll bring a warmer bag next time. The ridge light was super easy to use- and I was surprised when I found out it had different light levels! Loved the dim mode for the 2a bathroom break. I showed my friends some pictures of this sleep system an...

Super fast set up. It is attached to the carabiners that hook to the hammock. The fly and tent go up with two clicks of the carabiners. Comes with great stakes and guy lines🙂👍🏻

This pad is super durable and holds air well! It is comfortable and easy to inflate! This pad also keeps your body temperature while sleeping in it so much more regular than fluctuating with the outside breeze! What a difference it makes from sleeping in the age old hammock!

Finally got to go camping/hiking this past weekend. My XL Heaven hammock was a breeze to set up. Sleeping was so comfy. Used the heaven air pump to inflate my pad, worked like a breeze. Also great for getting our camp fire roaring. Great weekend. Planning on camping/hiking on the Appalachian Trail in a couple of weeks.

Set it up and spent that night in it. LOVED it. I’ll be honest. The set up wasn’t as intuitive or explained as well as I would hope. It took me some time. But once I set it up I found how easy it is! They need a more descriptive video in YouTube. I’m tempted to make my own for instruction challenged people like me…. lol. But I cannot wait to take this motorcycle camping. It will be a game changer!!

super cool. i love the way they look and having them overhead. i can reach up and turn them on and off without searching for a light. i like the dimmable option too this light adds a real cool vibe to camp. when they are plugged in and left in their white stuff sack it makes a pretty bright lantern effect. so glad i got them with my haven.they make the most awesome hammock even cooler.

I was able to test out my new hammock during a recent tonight kayak trip on an island off the coast of the Eastern shore of Nova Scotia. Having slept in other hammocks, I can honestly say my Haven hammock was an absolute treat! I love how roomy it is And how easy it is to get in and out of, especially at night when nature calls. As with other hammocks, finding a level piece of ground is not always easy so the hammock option helps to solve that problem. My Haven hammock allowed me a great lay fla...

OMG! i have always been fascinated with hammocks. it amazes me how something so comfortable to nap in can transform into a torture device after an hour or two. i have tried many different hammocks over the years in search of one i could actually spend a night in and live to tell about it. it felt like i was on a unicorn hunt. that all changed with my haven safari. after drooling over the idea and design of the haven for a few years i finally got brave and pulled the plug. so glad i did. i order...

Wow. First off is where was I when these things came out? A game changer. Never going back to regular tent. No more back aches after a humid night sleeping on the ground. Spacious, comfortable and solid. I got the safari model because I’m a bigger guy but worth the extra weight all day long. I’ll be having some of the best sleeps ever doing what I love. Thanks Haven

It was a Friday- it was about 5 o’clock when I showed up on site. It took about 15 minutes to set the Original Haven on the ground. I placed a reflective blanket at the bottom of the Haven -inflated the 24 inch insulated pad, put it inside, added the haven pad cover, and then put a couple of sleeping bags (one inside the other )- folded down the rain fly and then hung out until about 1 am by the fire. The temperature got down to 26° according to my iPhone, but my thermometer said 11° and it was ...

This is my third Haven tent hammock. And definitely the best-finished version. The zipper opens in different directions, practical zipper handles. And I like this belt under the hammock the most. It helps to maintain the right position and I no longer lie upside down.

A little film from my camp. It's the best hammock / tent I've ever had, it covers all my needs in that it can both hang and stand on the ground, and that I lie flat as I sleep both on my side and on my stomach. my only minus is that the original tarp is not waterproof enough, so I bring my extra tarp, which I intend to replace with a Penumbra Hot Tent Tarp. but otherwise I would give it 9.5 out of a possible 10

Absolutely amazing! When they first said, that its most likely better than my bed at home, I was sceptical, like how good can this thing really be... But after using it for a couple of weeks, I can confirm that it's better. Way better actually, and TBO its hard for me to imagine a better bed than this. Been camping in my garden for the last 8 days, wife and son miss me, but daddy is finally happy <3
