I received these shoes yesterday. I tried them out on the courts today for three hours. A couple of things to understand why I wanted to try them. I have a hard time finding wide shoes that are comfortable, supportive, and allow me to play pickleball for many hours. A little funky looking but that is how my foot is shaped. Instead of making the toe more evenly pointed from both sides like other shoes, this shape looks like my foot looks-- flatter on the inside and rounded on the outside. My toes are not pinched together but are able to spread out and this improves my balance. I play pickleball three or four times each week. These black-sole shoes are far superior to the MUUV shoes with the white soles. The company made a smart move switching to black soles, and I’m happy to report they do not mark pickleball courts on any surface I’ve played on. Great Pickleball Shoes! Because of the pain I had to cut my playing days to once a week. Everyone had told me that I had plantar fasciitis and I was convinced too. I had the original Muuv shoe and loved them the large toe box was great no foot/leg pain while or after pickleball play. The down side was the sole of the shoe basically disintegrated from day 3 of play. I contacted the company, sent photo's of the bottom of the shoes. They were very helpful, replaced my shoes and I had the same problem. Customer service was great and they informed me they were working on a new quality sole for the shoe. These shoes have been great so far. I’ve been playing in them for about a month, averaging around 15 hours per week between games and drilling, and they’ve held up really well. They’re very lightweight and have a super wide toe box, which makes them comfortable during longer sessions. The rubber outsoles are excellent, probably some of the better soles I’ve played in.
