The La Luna pet door was exactly as described. Good quality, excellent instruction videos, and easy to install. I chose to install it as a fixed fixture, and it was easy to replace the lock from the sliding door to the pet door. Be warned, though - closing the flyscreen will mean that your pet cannot use the pet door - unless you choose to install another door in sequence on the flyscreen as well. This is a sturdy alternative to adding a pet door to an existing window or door. It easily locks so the house is still secure so can be kept in place all of the time. The magnet on the flap was a bit strong for the kittens but the older cats showed them how to get around this. Excellent product and happy to recommend to anybody.

I have very tall sliding doors. The doggie door fit very neatly and easily and looks good. Only issue is the draft sealing which doesn’t stand up to regular use. Training the dogs was relatively quick and effective if you keep the plastic flap clean. Otherwise they see it as a barrier. I brought the door for my sons Bull Arab puppy i got the XL door for when she became an adult. Best decision ever i also got the security and sliding door packages fully recommend getting those to anybody buying the door. My dog who is now close to full size absolutely loves the freedom the door provides i love the security of being able to lock the screen doors to it, the only thing that would have made it complete is a small touch up paint bottle or tin.

My favourite feature is the easy slide-on plate to secure it when not in use. Only thing I would improve is it's ended up slightly too high on the outdoor side because there's a step - could have given placement just a little more thought. Minor issue though.

The design is a bit flimsy and quality is lower than expected for the price, I couldn’t figure out how to reinstall my lock either, but will get a bar lock. I will get an install done on the glass in future, this works for now, but would recommend spending the money and getting a permanent dog door installed.
