We have broken many dishes over 20 years from a set of simple white. Instead of buy an entire new set, we ordered bowls and plates to go with the remaining white and it is so fun! Love the size of these bowls for dinners, soup, and salads. They fit well in our dishwasher too. Found the name of the company on dishes at a favorite local restaurant so we figured they’d wear well and they really have.

We love all our Dowan dishes we recently purchased. We have the pasta bowls, 8.5" plates and the 11.5" serving dishes - all perfect sizes! They were so fun to have for our new kitchen and the 6 course Italian meal we had with friends! The colors are so vibrant and fun and the dishes are a nice solid weight but not too heavy.

My wife loves this product (it's the colors that make her happy). She started out with 2 serving bowls (which I bought for her last year). So, this year, I bought her your complete set for this upcoming Christmas. However, I have not opened the original boxes and am hoping that all is good (none broken, etc.). I'm sure she will love them (and can give you another rating after Christmas, if you like).

These 2 jewel orchids kept contemplating their life choices until I put them both in this self watering planter. Now the big girl is throwing a leaf. When I bought the complete crockery set, I was seduced by the appearance of the bowls. I didn't think I would really like these dinner plates. I almost didn't add them to the order. I was pleasantly surprised by the relief details on the edges of the plate, as you can see in the photo. when buying we do not see these details with relief. It is simply magnificent.
