Very easy assembly you can do by yourself. Exercises work even with long legs if you adjust the back rest just right for it. The tension throughout the entire range of motion stays constant. Great machine for a basic one. It was easy to set up almost completely by myself. Took about 3 hours total and I missed a few steps and had to go back and correct them. Everything works as it should. I did a lot of research on a home gym set up for a small space and so far couldn't be happier with this Smith Machine. They don't use cheap materials, the welds are solid and the set up is relatively easy (you will want a second person to help build).
Also, I'm glad I bought this direct from RitFit vs their offering on Amazon. The price is comparable but the plates are higher quality and you get more add-ons.

The BPC05 is an excellent machine. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. The only improvements i would suggest, is to make the machine about 6 inches taller, and move the smith bar portion out from the weight stack another 6 inches to really give more space to perform without being cramped.

I love it so far! Setup was fairly easy anything I got confused on there is a Ritfit video on YouTube for the installation. I’ll probably stick to my old bench since this one was just a little off for some reason but that could just be installer error. Was not sure it was going to fit in my space but so happy I pulled the trigger and purchased it! I'm a large guy so the BLP-01 just didn't seem like it would be comfortable for me. Relatively easy to build even by myself. Using an impact driver also made it much easier. Installing the sled on the rails was accomplished by suspending the sled from the top and resting it on the frame, then slipping the rails up from the bottom. I plan on adding some width to the lower foot plate as I need to spread my feet further apart for a deeper squat - I've had both knees replaced and my flexion is not what it used to be!
