I bought the machine to help with my total knee replacement therapy. It took me about 3 hours to put it together. That includes opening all the boxes and spreading out all the parts. There was a couple of steps I could have used an extra set of hands. For now, I’m only using it to squat, with very little weight. I’m still working on getting as much range of motion in my knee. Happy with the leg press combo. For the most part installation was easy. The numbering of the screws was a huge help. The rails were smooth for both hack squats and leg press. The pads could be better and do feel too thin. Especially the back pad. The only other thing is that there are some scratches and small spots where the paint came off. I am assuming it was either from shipping or during the build. I’ll try to match paint to touch up. Overall I am happy with the leg press combo....

I am super excited about my new smith machine! I was a little nervous due to some of the reviews saying they had things arrive damaged or with missing parts, but I did not have that experience at all. Everything that was meant to come included with it did, and nothing was damaged other than a few scratches on some of the metal pieces, but that to me that is to be expected with such heavy items. I hired a gym equipment installer to put it together for me and he did it all by himself in 2.5 hours....

Super straight forward directions, quality was super high, I didn’t see any scratches or bends in the metal. The directions explicitly state you need two people to install but I was able to do it myself! I appreciate the time they put into the shipping and directions, each step in the directions has its own set of the appropriate hardware in order to complete it. I absolutely love this set up. I was able to build it much faster than I expected, putting both pieces together in one afternoon. I wasn't expecting the included double box end reversible ratcheting wrench, it was super helpful especially in the tighter spaced areas. I'm 5'10" and was a little disappointed in the range of motion available in both the hack squat and leg press. My first power cage and I'm tickled to death with it. I was worried about shipping damage but everything arrived in perfect condition. Assembly was easy enough. Took about 4 hours by myself and taking my time with a lunch break. A power ratchet is helpful. It's opened a whole new world to my home workouts. Before I had a nice bench. A curl bar and basically dumbbells. I'm already enjoying the Lat pull down and cable row along with barbell bench pressing. I haven't tried the land mine yet...
