Love the doors. One of the 1/4-20 inch thread cutting screws continued to spin and wouldn't tighten. I drilled a second 7/32 hole in the steel, but had the same problem so I went to the hardware store and bought a new one. No big deal. The glass on the right side door was shifted and covered the pilot holes for the door handle so I had to remove the clips holding it in place in order to move it back into place. Otherwise, the doors are super sturdy and look beautiful! Thank you!!

All in all a very nice set of fireplace doors. Haven’t used the fireplace yet, but the glass doors open easily as do the mesh doors behind them. My installation required the use of the raiser bar which no matter how hard I tried, I could not get it aligned with the bottom of the doors. When I received the unit, one latch was stuck in the frame and had been pulled out of the door from behind the handle. I was able to straighten out the bracket that held it and find the missing pieces except for one screw. I had a spare screw that worked and I was able to put it all back together and it works just fine now Shipping could be pretty rough I guess!

The door looks great and functions great. Great price and fast arrival. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because I ran into two minor installation issues. One, the anchors did not work, easy fix bought better ones at Lowes. Two, had issues attaching all 4 brackets to the key studs on the door frame, key stud did not allow for enough clearance to fit the bracket, so two options, sand down bracket to make it thinner or force it in. NOT HAPPY.... should of kept the Chinese piece shit. It was better made for 1/4 the cost. To start the 45° cut ends weren't de-burr and not repainted. I didn't catch that before I cut the shit out of my hand!!! Plus the BS screen rod setup is junk! Everytime you close or open, it falls apart. Those little clips don't do shit! Frame dimensions are good. Right door has substantial concave bow to it. Bottom of frame has hole for magnets, but no magnets. Please sens another pair of magnets.
