If customers knew that after the installation of the support bracket > you simply pair the bracket to the front cover (without the need for fasteners) it would all be understood and sales would increase!

I like the peice it fits well. However, the folding glass frame was not painted black on the ends its silver from the metal. The ends should be painted. This is taught in HS shop class. Especially on the finish work for a custom peice that I paid $1,000.00 for. Additionally, I had to adjust the hinges on the screen and the folding glass to get them to line up evenly. For $1,000.00 i shouldn't have to paint or adjust anything.

Easy for a DIY installation. The hardware is included, so just fasten the back plate to a stud and slide the mantel shelf onto the back plate. Easy-squeezie. The shelf itself is very elegant. The hardware includes a drill-bit for drilling holes through the metal back-plate. Forget it and get your own 3/16th metal drill bit. The included one would not drill through the metal!

Overall a good quality product. My only negative is the doors don’t both close properly. They were taped in shipping to make sure they didn’t break. However the tape hid the fact one of the doors doesn’t close flush with the other door.

It took several months for the fireplace screen to arrive, but it fits great and looks even better. The materials of construction appear to be high quality and the fit and finish are great. My fireplace screen was a challenging manufacture because it was fit to an arched fireplace opening. However, it looks great, works perfectly, and have no reservations with the purchase.

This is a fantastic addition to our old masonry fireplace. We had smoke issues before which after some research seemed to point to lack-of-airflow-control with a big opening. So smoke would just leave into the room. Now, with the doors, the airflow is a higher velocity from the gap and vent at the bottom (the old fireplace workmanship is not the aligned so we have a small gap). We can now see the smoke spinning around behind the glass and then up the chimney.
Problem solved! Or at least massiv...

Looks great, was easy to install. Packaging was difficult to open. The only area open was wrapped in heavy plastic wrap. Guess how you open that? With a sharp blade, upon what you will find out the front of the he mantle is under it, so big scratch all the way down the front, would suggest better packing.

Ordering was easy, our estimated ship date was 7/12 we did not receive until 7/26, it was not packed well and the corners were scratched and there is a scratch on the face. I did contact the company and they are supposed to be sending touch-up paint. Would have appreciated something off.

My only issue was that there was a stray wire wrapped around one 9f the built in screws that I am not able to clip off. It makes the leg a little wobbly as I am not able to attach it fully/as tight as I should.
