Unusual installation as removing the existing frame would have turned into a major reconstruction project and masonry repair. Previous owner had a pellet stove on the hearth so there were no doors. The existing frame has a stepped inset all around so adding the new frame and doors did not reduce the already small opening at all and fit perfectly into the inset. Just five screws and was done. Perfect.

Easy installation, doors are fully together in the box and well packaged. Install only took a few minutes, dropping the lip inside and then using the 4 pressure screws to lock it in place. We absolutely love our fireplace screen. We custom ordered and it took about 5-6 weeks to come in. They are not cheap but they are really great quality.
I recommend adding 1-2" to the height of your opening and 2-3" to the width. We love ours.

It was supposed to be installed w L shape brackets on the side of the doors on the video, but this one was attached to the lintel. My lintel is rounded, so we had to mount the bracket to the bottom of the lintel instead of the back.
