This is what I was missing in Vector for daily shaving. A fairly soft and gentle shave, I really like it! Thank you for making cool things like Vector light!

This razor now belong to my top 3 and could be easily on the top of the podium - please may the same in brass or in bronze, then he would be a top One ! Efficient, smooth, respectful, and a fantastic combination with Personna blades !

Not much to add here!!!This is an excellent razor both in terms of performance and construction. A must have for single blade fans. What is truly amazing is the feeling that you hold a surgical knife. Even with feather pro guard blades is extremely efficient. Maybe the best razor in my den. Well done Blackland!!!

Wow, the open comb (OC) baseplate is amazing! The OC baseplate gives me a close shave that allows me to go every other day. I am still under a year with DE shaving but I can tell you it is all technique but once you get it down, it will reward you with an excellent shave. I get best results with a Feather blade regardless the razor I use. My neck and chin area has some pretty thick hair which other sharp blades do not do as well. While I still like using the Lite baseplates, it kinda makes me...

Love the To. Blackbird. Best safety razor I have ever owned. Dry shaving too. I wish I had this razor when I was in the Army back on the 80's.Beautiful and what a feel in your hand. Got the Lite bottom plate for it. Smooth nick free headshaving. American made too! Thank you, Douglas

First razor from Blackland and absolutely love it. The less aggressive Lite makes it a great daily shaver that lets me zoom across my face without having to worry about nicks.

The Open Comb baseplate is definitely more efficient than the Safety Bar version. However, unlike the Safety Bar which can be used as a daily shaver, the Open Comb is best for every 2-3 day interval shaving. It can easily mow a week’s hair growth

New to wet shaving. Decide on the titanium vector after doing a bunch of research. Glad I Did! Great razor! For a beginner like me the feather soft guard make a great combo until I get better at it. Also, customer service experience I had was really great. Would recommend blackland to anyone. David

Love this razor, it became my go-to razor. It is super easy to find the right shave angle. I am not sure if this is what people consider an Auto-Pilot razor but to me, it almost is. I am using this with Feather blades and get great shaves. This is a razor I can gift someone new to shaving and know they will hit the ground running. Some backstory, I am new to DE shaving at the age of 40 and thank Amazon for recommended the King Gillette Razor when looking for my normal refill. I bought it but it...

The polish is beautiful beyond my expectations! The polish blows me away, it’s almost too beautiful to use! I have the Ti Blackbird which is a top razor for me, the bronze offers a slightly different shave experience, but I love it too! Shane and company make gorgeous razors that are a dream shaving experience.

The stand is a nice addition to the overall shaving kit. Helping to dry the handle for next use. It fits in well with the overall aesthetics of the Blackbird Titanium as well.

Bought this in addition to the Titanium Lite Base Plate which I have. The Titanium Base Plate suits me better with a more efficient shave and will be my default.

I hesitate to praise products too easily; words like great/ amazing/ outstanding are scattered across without much thought. However in the case of the Osprey, I’ll make an exception- to add some context, I have a lot of razors in my collection, maybe around 50 or so at the last count. I use them by rotation and keep the best 10 more easily accessible. The Osprey has easily climbed into my top 3, and that after 5 shaves. And I suspect the more I shave with it, the higher it’ll climb. Why? To s...

I own the Blackbird machined brass long handle. When I chose to discover the SE, my choice could only be the Vector! This razor gives me an exceptional shave! it is for the delicate parts of the neck that it particularly surprised me ! I obtain a perfect shave with very few strokes and very gently! With Blackland, I always have good experiences ! Thank you !

The Osprey instantly replaced my entire razor collection; it met all my wants and needs in a single razor. It’s functional and durable while looking amazing displayed full time on my bathroom counter. The range the 9 levels should be able to meet just about every shaver’s needs. It goes from smooth and comfortable with surprising efficiency in the medium levels to everything below and above.

This is the best razor I’ve ever used—it’s truly stunning. Initially I thought it might be too slim, delicate, or lightweight, however, I can tell you it's perfect and exudes quality when you hold it in your hands. You can use different SE blades to get precisely what you want out of your shaves.

The Osprey is the best adjustable razor I have ever purchased. I was skeptical of the high price at first, but after watching the video, I decided to gift myself of the razor so I could compare it to the other adjustable razors (9) in my shave den collection. My first shave with the Osprey was amazing. I used my favorite go to blade which is an Astra Green since I know the blade and how it shaves with my other adjustable razors. I started on level 6 first pass, level 4 and finished with level 2....

This razor is peace of art! The built and quality is superb. Of course, most importantly, it shaves so good. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to own this remarkable piece.

Have the Blackbird in ss but wanted to see what all the hype was around the Ti version. Very nice razor but I think I slightly prefer the weight of the ss over the Ti version. Both are fantastic razors and switch back and forth. Ti for light beard growth, ss for heavier growth.

I’m so impressed with the Vector Polished Light SB, along with the stand, and the Feather Pro Guard Artist Club (AC) blades!!! Yes 🙌 10/10 shave - I am a promoter of this Blackland Vector shaving system. What more could the modern American in need of a smooth, comfortable, and healthy shave need? Not much… very efficient system which lessens the total on metal contact to skin per shave. The blades last like 10+ shaves for me because they’re more rigid than their double edge cousins. I find ...

I love blackbird. I have it in machined brass and polished stainless steel, but I wanted to buy just the titanium SB baseplate, since I have discovered that the baseplate makes the blackbird regardless of the finish. The titanium SB base plate is very smooth and just as efficient, a little less slippery than polished steel. It feels very light. When I want less weight I put a titanium handle on it and I understand the fuss about titanium. Super light, very smooth and efficient.

Head and face shaver here, The Vector's wide yet compact head makes it perfect for shaving the sides, and back of the head. It also excels at shaving spots that can be cumbersome for most other razors to reach. (Like just under the nose). Wanna line up your beard? The Vector has you covered. Enjoy traveling? Blackland offers a perfectly weighted stand. Set it on a counter. You and, your Vector are home away from home. Best Artist Club Razor ever made IMHO. Happy Shaving, Francis Batiste III

I'm still getting used to the new razor but when I use it correctly it's the smoothest shave I've had. I really enjoy the aesthetic of it as well as it's ease of use and similarity to tradition cartridge razors. In the long term, I will enjoy savings on disposable blades, have a close comfortable shave, and a design that will withstand time.

I already had the Osprey in the machined version. Actually, I was very satisfied. However, I was bothered by the traces of the CNC milling machine. The top cap was rough and subjectively the gliding properties were not as smooth as on other models. I also found the readability of the digits on the dial difficult to read. The polished version of the Osprey with Vis a Vis inscription on the step numbers completely removed these minor points. For me, the Osprey is now perfect and one of the most be...

After about 8 shaves with it, I found that I need to add significantly more pressure than I’m used to with many of my SS DE razors. But, when I add pressure, I get phenomenal shaves with this thing. It’s gentle, but also efficient enough to get to BBS after three passes. I’d be curious to try the regular plate, but the lite is great for me as a daily shaver. As always with Blackland, my Vector is superbly finished with no marks or blemishes anywhere.

For me, the best adjustable razor that I’ve tried and one of the best razors overall. Can’t have a bad shave with it. Really well balanced and very natural to use, feels great in the hand and in the face. My preferred razor from Blackland (I think I’ve tried them all). Well done.

I’ve tried out quite a few different razors (including Blackland’s SS Osprey), and the Blackbird Ti is the most unique and best performing razor I’ve used yet. I consistently get the closest shaves and with absolutely zero irritation! A few other razor I’ve used have been to deliver as close as shave, but each time at the expense of some level of skin irritation. Conversely, I’ve used plenty of milder razors that can spare me from nicks and irritation, but without as close a shave as I’d hope f...

I am beyond satisfied with the vector. I was scared it was going to be a little too aggressive but was wrong. The razor shaves as smooth as butter. Couldn’t be happier.

Perhaps the best all around performer in the Blackland collection of razors. One can cover every razor from this maker with a turn of the adjustment dial and it would deliver an equal shave if not better. Face feel with Titanium is unique to this alloy and is superb with every Titanium alloy razor I’ve tried and owned. The Osprey Ti is no exception to this trait as it feels smooth and easy on the skin. Balance is excellent with equal respect to ease of use as well. The Stainless version is a gr...

I am delighted to write a glowing review of the Blackland Blackbird Lite Razor! I am still new to wet shaving but have read good things about Blackland razors and have watched Shane’s videos on YouTube and also heard Shane speak on a shaving podcast, so I decided to give the Blackbird Lite a try and WoW! I’ve used the Blackbird Lite several times now and can’t say enough good things about it. I realize this art is subjective “YMMV”, but I have to say it’s given me some of the best shaves of my l...

I stay on the level 3/4 plate and the shaves are fantastic! I love the idea of swapping the safety bar and I can’t believe nobody has thought of this sooner. Genius design with a beautiful execution.

The Osprey is fantastic for many reasons ! First of all, it is a razor that has been very well thought out because it is the first adjustable razor that I know that can be used at all levels. I tried it from level 9 to level 2. All levels are very comfortable and very effective. I like varying the shaving angles, which the Osprey allows with great ease and safety. I also find that it is very well designed because it seems to me that the blade vibrates very little, which ensures a smooth and pe...

After lots of online reviewing i decided to bite the bullet and place an order for the SS blackbird and stand. Such a fantastic razor which oozes quality design and manufacturing. A little practice required as with any new razor but ive had no nicks, cuts or weepers, just a comfortable and smooth shave. Despite reviews which have said the blackbird is a very aggresive razor i have found no issues with using it daily, no sore bits and no irritation. Prepare your face, use decent quality products ...

I bought the Vector last year. It's a beautiful razor, but I didn't get on well with it. I kept getting blood spots and shaved a bit rough. So I was very happy when I found out about the Lite Baseplate. Now, after a few shaves, I'm delighted. This plate suits my shaving habits better and the Vector is finally really my thing.

The best GEM razor in the business. Versatility that is unmatched in the GEM blade field of shaving tools and a very formidable competitor regardless of razor blade format. Yes, it's that good. I've had the razor for nearly 4 months and it has not just met expectations, it simply exceeded them by a wide margin. Blackland added the extra oomph it needed to take it to not just the next level but, a whole other level entirely. Still smooth, still intuitive and just a true pleasure in action. The OG...

My 3rd Blackland razor in addition to Osprey & Vector. Love the Sabre (L2) equally, a no brainer razor. Easy to use, no fear of shaving on multiple passes nor burns. The GEM might look intimidating due to its size but I can get equally the same number of shaves with Feathers DE and ProGear blades. The razor weight serves me well. Strongly recommended!

So, I struggled at first. I got a few cuts and shaving took a lot of time. I actually kept everything the same and just persevered. Totally paid off! Back to full speed now with no worries at all. Just took my brain some time to adapt. Now it's my favourite part of the day. Love the brass with it's patina and soap marks. Feels like aged quality which is a pleasure to just look at. The weight is excellent too and adds to the solid feel. Using feather blades and Ariana and Evans Khalifa soap.
