Wow, the open comb (OC) baseplate is amazing! The OC baseplate gives me a close shave that allows me to go every other day. I am still under a year with DE shaving but I can tell you it is all technique but once you get it down, it will reward you with an excellent shave. I get best results with a Feather blade regardless the razor I use. My neck and chin area has some pretty thick hair which other sharp blades do not do as well. Blackland is a fine American company, I do love me some American made products. The Osprey is the best adjustable razor I have ever purchased. I was skeptical of the high price at first, but after watching the video, I decided to gift myself of the razor so I could compare it to the other adjustable razors (9) in my shave den collection.
