Finally got out on the water today. Perfect wacky rig rod. Very sensitive but has enough back bone to flip them in the boat. I would recommend the 7’ medium to anyone looking for a great finesse rod with fight built into it.

Both of my rods handled these jumbo perch very very well! Only thing i noticed about both the power noodle and carbon rod was that when i caught these fish there was some movement where the blank goes in the trip. Both rods hand no issues with these 13.5 inch perch!

I got the custom float 11'6'', and it pairs perfectly with my 3000 Shimano Vanford reel. I use it to float fish for steelhead when a little finesse is required. The rod quality is AMAZING, it feels light, balanced and casts very smoothly. This is my first Mags. Craftsmanship is amazing. I have had a chance to land a couple hundred panfish with it. My honest opinion is that it is a tad thick and loads more toward the very end of the rod, for a noodle style rod. I don't dislike it; it took a little getting used to. Being able to personalize your fishing arsenal is an awesome option. Great quality rods. Only thing I would change is, not using usps for shipping. The rod bounced around Michigan to several usps hubs, for several days. What would have taken a max of 2 days via ups or fedex, was 5 days for our postal service.

Mags has the BEST customer service. I ordered two custom noodle rods and when I received them, UPS had completely destroyed the package it came in during transit, causing damage to one of the poles.
