The rod was well made in the colors I wanted and it was very sensitive too for a medium. I like that we can choose the length to be up to 40 inches. Bad thing is the other color couldn't be past 36 inches.

Love my 30" power noodle. Very sensitive. 4mm tungsten loads it perfectly. Detects up bites real well. Unfortunately, with ice conditions being what they've been this season I've only been out with it a half dozen times but it's exceeded my expectations.

WOW! I am blown away at the sensitivity of the carbon rod vs a fiberglass one. The tip sensitivity on the end is very interesting, it becomes much thinner and results in a more sensitive touch. The colors and accents matched perfectly to what was shown on the website. The reel seat is very high quality and feels amazing in the hands.

Mags was a pleasure to deal with. My rod was done on time and it is everything I was hoping it would be. Feather lite, well balanced, super sensitive, and a blast to fish with. I ordered the green blank with blue wraps and the darker split grip cork handle and the rod looks as good as it fishes.
I did have some trouble with shipping, but that is on USPS and not Mags. When I contacted them about the rod not being delivered they were on top of it and helped me. I will be ordering from Mags again ...

Been fishing Mags for several years now and compared to the others, there just is no comparison to the sensitivity of Pat's tips, especially throwing hair; you literally can feel a 1/8 ounce hair jig land back in the sand after a rip; not to mention feeling the "tick" of a spring walleye, coupled with a solid back bone to set the hook and land em.

Love the dead stick went out with it this last weekend right after getting it and it was able to handle everything that I caught just fine. It was light enough to detect when a 5" perch was biting and had enough backbone to land the pike and eelpout that I was catching with it

Love the look and the feel of the ice rod! Paired them with Ceymars size 10 reels, great combo I think. Ran out of ice on Saginaw Bay, so I'll have to wait till next year to bake them in.
