First use of this rod, paired with Pfluger 40, 30 lbs braid, jigging Manistee Lake for Kings. Landed a 37" (don't know exact weight-no scale). Rod performed superb. 5 min fight twice around the boat until we got it netted. Unfortunately, that was the only fish so far on this rod, but it is now my go to. Very happy with it!

12’ spiral wrapped 8lb-15lb rod is an absolute beast. The fish that this rod has handled is insane. The rod has outlasted 2 Diawa lexa 300’s and years of skien abuse. 100 percent will be the only float rod I purchase. Take my word for the strength and durability of this rod, it’s amazing. I had been fishing with a Fenwick 'world class' medium light targeting yellow perch and they are indeed a fine rod but decided to step up to a power noodle from MAGS and it was a night and day difference!! I was detecting bites that I had not previously before seen and my bucket count went from 25 - 30 to 40 and 50 on comparable days. These power noodles are incredibly nice finesse rod; Worth every penny!!

I'm definitely happy with my purchase! Can tell a big difference in feel and quality compared to a rod you can get at the big stores. Only complaint is when hooking a big fish the reel tried to pull away from the rod due to it being held on with rubber bands. Nevertheless, would not hesitate to buy another!

Bought the custom power noodle rod. Took it out for the first time and was able to jig up a nice brown. You felt everything. The fish had the rod bent pretty good but the rod still had plenty of backbone to handle the fish now problem. I will be buying a custom carbon rod in the future.

I highly recommend the power noodle rod. I bought the 28" split handle and was very pleased with the performance. I took it perch fishing in northern Michigan and the sensitivity of it is unmatched. But also has a great backbone for the hook set. I will definitely be purchasing more rods from Mags in the future!

Finally got good enough ice to try out my new 31 inch power noodle. I have a clam carbon scepter rod that I love. Well………. I am here to say the Mags power noodle has taken the spot of my “Go To” rod and the clam has been demoted. Mags power noodle is very sensitive and I could feel a lot more when using it. I think I had more fish on the ice because of it. I will be buying another in the near future. If you’re on the fence, I’m here to say buy it. It is a great rod.

The first place I used my new Mags rod was on the Menominee river during the walleye run. The water was moving fast so the long cast I got from the rod allowed me to get the p-10 down to depth.
The fish always bit on the pause so the sensitivity of the rod helped me pick up on lighter bites in the current. When the fish was hooked the rod loaded up and I was able to land more fish, and avoid fish getting into the cover.

The Mags Power Noodle has been a very versatile rod for me. Has a soft enough tip to see "up-bites" from crappie yet, isn't mushy when jigging like most other fiberglass rods I have used.
