Haven’t had it on the hard water but it was a little chilly on the Saginaw bay this morning. It did its job and kept me warm. This is not a cheaply made sweatshirt. It is pretty heavy and warm. I have 2 of them in different colors and styles. They are both great and worth the price!

Quality is top notch, per usual! Set this up while pan fishing and was able to put 12 fish topside with it!! Super happy to add another Mags rod to my arsenal. I love being able to have a dedicated Jaw Jacker rod that’s designed specifically for that as well. Can’t wait to test the power of the rod when I get it set up for some bigger fish!

I was instantly impressed when a buddy horsed in a 30+ inch pike on a power noodle. I then went and bought 2 med/light. And soon followed with 2 mediums. These are awesome rods. Highly recommend. Next I want a noodle and then a 45 heavy for lakers!! 5 stars!!!

I love my new reel and MAGS rod. The reel and rod are easily put together. Unscrew the handle piece on the rod handle slip the reel mount bracket into the groove and screw it back into place until your reel sets firmly. Everything is nice and light, the reel and the pole. Nibbles and bites can be felt without question. The handle of the rod is easy to hold and fits nicely in your hand. The entire package is awesome. ML 7'2" super sensitive but can handle big fish when needed. Has great action and loads up great! The only thing I would change is putting recoil guides on it.

We have only used this rod on one trip so far and reeled in the biggest snapper of the day. Very good feel and plenty of backbone to get the job done! We paired it with a Talica 16 that is butter smooth and made a great combo. Our order came in quicker than expected and the packaging was way overkill to make sure no damage was done during shipping. I absolutely love this rod for float fishing some of the bigger Lake Ontario and Lake Erie tribs. I have the 13’ 6-10. Plenty of backbone for big steelhead and salmon in heavy flows, a fast enough tip to get a good hook set even on super long drifts, and amazing build quality. It’s also fairly lightweight for a 13’ rod. I honestly can’t wait to buy another Mags rod.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a jacker rod blank. I replaced my whole jacker fleet and fished them hard this season. I primarily fish Great Lakes steelhead and brown trout. I also like to use these in the shack as a bobber rod or with a tube jig. The rod loads up nicely when running 6lb. It also has plenty of backbone to pair with heavier pound test line. This blank is very versatile and will work great for most species you would want to use a jaw jacker for.

This is my 2nd Mags rod I have in my arsenal. I love them. I don’t think there is a better panfish combo than the 32” Powernoodle paired up with a Daiwa QR750 reel. I can fish my smallest jigs, and my biggest spoons on them and anything in between and the sensitivity and control is the same throughout. I haven't seen many 4 piece rods, but I've only heard great things about MAGS quality so I gave it a shot. Pat recommended the Carbon X 1000 reel to go with it and wow! Took it on my trip to upstate NY (flew with it in my carry-on) for smallie fishing and it produced double digit fish every day. As sensitive as my one-piece, great action and much more backbone than I expected. I can't recommend this setup enough, thanks Pat!

Can’t beat the 32” power noodle for a day on the ice. Sensitive tip to feel and see even the lightest bites but plenty of backbone to bring in about anything. Use it to target gills, crappie, and perch with great success but also landed a few accidental catches up to 30” pike. I loved it so much that I bought my son the pink power rod this winter and that has led to a couple buddies also getting them. The problem is with all in my group having them, it no longer feels special. Lol
