Pat and his crew are just good people that make awesome rods. Every single one of my friends that I fish with has at least one MAGS rod and absolutely love them. I use my med/lite for 1/8 ounce spoons for walleye and it just crushes. Have not got to use it fishing yet. I love the design and the sensitivity just messing with it after putting the Piscifun Viper X on it. Pat and his crew did an excellent job with the colors, American Flag and my US Navy sticker on it. I will update and put photos on my review after I get out on the water and catch some fish. Thank You to the Mags Team for the awesome Rod!!! I would recommend Mags Custom Rods to anyone that is looking for a new rod.

Haven't had the chance to use it yet. Was looking for a rod specific for auto setters. Ran in to mags at Dakota angler ice institute and they had exactly what I was looking for. Great quality and feel. Can't wait to get it out on the ice.

Finally got out on the water today. Perfect wacky rig rod. Very sensitive but has enough back bone to flip them in the boat. I would recommend the 7’ medium to anyone looking for a great finesse rod with fight built into it.

I got the custom float 11'6'', and it pairs perfectly with my 3000 Shimano Vanford reel. I use it to float fish for steelhead when a little finesse is required. The rod quality is AMAZING, it feels light, balanced and casts very smoothly. In terms of performance, I have yet to break off a fish with this rod (I have only lost fish when they run into wood), which makes the old saying "a good rod fights the fish for you" true. The rod was well made in the colors I wanted and it was very sensitive too for a medium. I like that we can choose the length to be up to 40 inches. Bad thing is the other color couldn't be past 36 inches.

Being able to personalize your fishing arsenal is an awesome option. Great quality rods. Only thing I would change is, not using usps for shipping. The rod bounced around Michigan to several usps hubs, for several days. What would have taken a max of 2 days via ups or fedex, was 5 days for our postal service.

Mags has the BEST customer service. I ordered two custom noodle rods and when I received them, UPS had completely destroyed the package it came in during transit, causing damage to one of the poles.
