I am completely new to laser engraving. The machine was easy to set up and I am still working on getting all my safeties in place (surge protection, venting, etc) as I am using it my home. The problem I have now is learning the Lightburn software. I wish there was a good training manual.

Drops in and functions, but there's no provision to use the K40 panel controls so there's no way to do a test burn to adjust the laser height. Purchased a copy of LightBurn as well, but nothing in there either.

Ordering was easy and delivered as expected with bonus of appearing to have been dropped on corner at some point during shipping. Thankfully, the product was packaged well so had only small dent in corner. Mirrors were all out of whack, but videos explained how to realign them. Some movements were difficult as there was little to no room to get fingers in to make adjustments. This is a good introductory laser for CO2. I have a couple of years in a diode, so I feel pretty comfortable with them...

Even though I have not had a chance to really use it a lot, what little I have done I have really enjoyed using it. The assembly was extremely simple to complete and had it powered up quickly. Adding it to Lightburn, my preferred software was no problem at all. My lack of use is the ONLY reason for the lower rating.
