Perfect Engraver for my needs! I just got the Monport GI60 MOPA Fiber Laser. Customer Service is very helpful. Responds to all emails promptly, with all my questions answered. It took less than a week to arrive and came in on a large heavy double box. The contents are well protected. It is a good machine so far, works fine, the HMI is easy to use and understand. it is not loudy, so you can actually have it in a room or a garage. The delivery was fast, much faster than expected, the communication was always good, it came perfectly attached to a pallet and perfectly wrapped up, it was also perfectly aligned. Having fun works as it should. We are so happy with out Monport K40. I took a little time to get it all figured out being a complete newbie at laser fun. I wood like to see a few more improvements such as a air assist, A movable Honeycomb bed to fine tune focus, and maybe a 4 way access to load longer sheet material. Couldn't be Happier! I was a Diode laser user for a while and wanted to make the leap to Co2. I reached out to many companies and searched all the known suspects (ebay, amazon, etc..). Let me start by saying that this laser is great! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is lack of information. Support helped but I ultimately fixed a focus issue by just trying stuff out. I’m a technical guy so I wasn’t too intimidated. One issue was that when the autofocus showed focused the 3 dots for the manual focus we’re not aligned. Another huge issue was the 80mm rotary. Hello, so far, I'm satisfied with the laser. I made some modifications like removing the bed, replacing the original controller with a smothieware board so I can control the laser using LightBurn, and added a mA reader. I will add air assist soon, I tried a couple of air assist nozzles but didn't get good results. From order to delivery was fast. I have only had the Monport 90w for a few weeks now and so far I am very happy with it. Setup was easy and for me it was just a few small adjustments to the mirrors and I was up and running.
