Its engraved pretty much everything ive tried so far, its especially good with glass both surface and deep engraving. It also does acrylic super quick without damage or clean up. Read a lot of bad reviews about support and product. We went with machine based on price and size. So far machine is working great. Minor alignments of the mirror and cleaning of the lens. The gantry was askew and want cutting circles out where the ends would meet, so we had to align it. As for support we haven't had to use support so far but they did contact us a few times asking if we got the machine and how it was going which was nice. I had an opportunity of late to purchase a good quantity of plywood and acrylic sheets from Monport during a particularly good sale. I’m not new to lasers or the fact you can purchase a laser and never get any real support. Monport folks have been great. I clearly made the right choice. Everything is pretty heavy duty and expecting years of service. It’s fast, the 90watt is a beast. I did hook it up to my ventilation system, I found the factory install fan a bit noisy compared to my exhaust blow which is mounted outside the building and I hooked it up to a chiller so no open bucket of water. Like my video review says the monport Reno 45 base model is a great unit. Yeah, the the pro might be better. I don't know but works good. It's a great machine and just be cautious of how you hook it up that can hook up to some other programs that it shouldn't and that can make it wonky. But in light burn, it's great as long as you hook it up first and then create another instance for each one of your machines and hook them up each time and individually. Amazed so far! I studied as an Architect for school and always had access to some of the state of the art laser cutters at the time, and have always wanted to be able to afford my own. Monport makes this dream a reality. For myself it was the absolute best bargian and quality for the price. May not have everything preinstalled , but a perfect unit to make your own. and of course not upwards of 50k! for a single unit.
