The replacement part arrived the next day which was awesome. Customer service and their quick response was much appreciated as it was an emergency situation for an elderly friend. Overall installation into wood stairs was not difficult and maybe about an hour. I did use a wrench to just make sure the large screws were extremely secure. Would definitely order this product again. Great company to deal with. Thank you

My rail kit was delivered very quickly (3 days) after ordering, and was packaged very securely to avoid damage. I was quite impressed with the quality of engineering, since it came from China. Assembly was very easy, although I did have to purchase my own galvanized washers. It looks great and does the job!

got new end caps.my other was damaged in a fire.but the railing stood strong. railing is a great support for going up or down the steps. you see I had a stroke 2 years ago and i weigh about 260lbs and aim 6ft7in tall.but this railing supports me fine

I had ordered and installed a rail, part of which got crushed by a vehicle. The good news was the concrete anchors held, and so I reordered a rail to replace the crushed parts of the initial one. Well, I reordered the wrong size top rail. All I needed to do was text the situation with a photo showing the issue and I received a near-immediate response. CR Fence & Rail sent a replacement top rail at no additional cost. Their service is prompt and outstanding! The product is a great value, as well....

The handrail and extension kit were very easy to install and produced a professional-looking project that will help my in-laws negotiate their steps more safely. I ordered handrail post on Amazon, received them quickly. Once opened, I realized that I was missing the post caps and hardware. I texted the provided number, it was a Sunday, so I didn't expect a response. To my surprise, I received a response within 30 minutes. One thing needs to be changed. The self drilling screws you use are mixed with a "bugle head" type. Stop using these. They do not seat against the thin metal fittings without stripping. Use the cheese head types. They can be driven home with no gap under the head. I modified the bugle heads by grinding the underhead bugle away.

I have 3 overdeep steps so required 4 step model. Could not use top rail screw inserts at one end. Ran out of self tapping screws. Had trouble deciding how long to cut the top rail. Instructions should address this situation.
