Install was easy and clear instructions and seems like a good rail for the price. Only 2 negatives are the plastic elbow adapter has rough sharp edges for your hands and the kit didn’t come with masonry screws to mount the extension rails to the brick. I had to buy Macon screws and paint the heads black to match.

Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. I was impressed with the design which is very adaptable to length and height of stairs. My installation was onto concrete steps and as others have noted, the included anchors are a tight fit in the holes made with the included drill. I wobbled the drill to make the holes larger. Unfortunately, the top rail was damaged during shipping to me. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement. Very good product and customer service!

I have use this product on 3 different projects and it never fails to impress. The only thing I would like to see would be the addition of two different thickness washers to make it easier to plumb the posts up more efficiently, I have to unpack my collection of washers and fish around for thinner washers to get a slight lean into one direction or another, the washers you include cause too drastic a change. Otherwise a stellar product.

The only issue for me was that I should have marked and installed two of the self tapping screws before final attachment of the posts since the backside of one post is inaccessible to for drilling due to a nearby wooden porch post. Thanks for sending the missing parts too enable installation of second rail. It just added a five day delay to completion. The only minor complaint is that the post caps you sent are not a match to those included with the first hand rail installed. The first were metal and the ones you sent are plastic. Second stair railing is yet to be installed as I just received today. Had to purchase the 4 - 5 stair railing system to be cut down with new tension fittings installed on cables and cut down rail will use the blind welded nut plate (cut-out and installed in shorter rail) Love a challenge!
