We have a two-step rail at one end of a commercial center. The snow removal people dislodged one of the anchor plate covers and half of it disappeared. I contacted CHR and they promptly sent a replacement cover (two, in fact) at no charge as the rail was within the warranty period. It was a quick and totally hassle-free process. CHR is very responsive and accommodating!

These new endocarps fit better than the original ones. the new endocarps are made of hard plastic that fit over the aluminum channel better. The old ones had rubber ridges that looked like they wound hold tightly to the ends of the rails. However, the end caps would not insert fully into the channels.

By repositioning the top brackets and using only one of the predrilled holes on each end of the main railing I managed to complete the installation. I was in a time sensitive situation and informed customer service. It took almost two weeks for the replacement to ship. The lower extension bar was too short. CR Handrail quickly mailed another bar with the correct length, no extra charge. The extension fits nicely with the stair railing. We bought the 2-3 step railing. They are sturdy railings. We like them a lot.

The handrail is attached to the two steps leading into our utility room from the garage. It's very sturdy and easy to use. The only problem we had in getting it put together was that the brackets and the package of screws wasn't in the original delivery. They were satisfactorily delivered after we called it in though.
