I find very little coffee ground retention, static or mess. I don’t believe I’ve had an issue getting it dialled in. (2 x clicks from 0 is where it stays most of the time). I bought this gooseneck kettle as I started getting more serious about my pourover coffee. It works great! The sky blue is a nice colour and it has a good pour. I saw some comments on a YouTube review that mentioned this kettle overshoots the set temperature. I've noticed that this only happens slightly when the kettle is used without the "hold" function. Works well, it is elegant and functional and having steam holes on top-side of the kettle body it's genial! The special knobs are moreover a sophisticated touch. I also had an issue after a couple of weeks (which came up being due to a faulty power-board, not to the kettle) and the assistance was so fast that when I found out the real issue, after less than 24 hours, they had already shipped another base unit. Good gooseneck electric kettle for a fair price. Pros: looks awesome. Pours very well. Can hold temp and boil with one extra touch.
