The white coating on the c&c cage comes off VERY easily and the parts also dislodge easily. I wouldn’t recommend this cage over other brands, especially for the high price point compared to the quality and sturdiness.

It was difficult to put together, pieces didn’t fit nicely together and needs to be pushed in together. the purple plastic piece is cheaper quality for what i paid for the cage and the girls have already chewed it. It was difficult to put together like i said, and on top of that there was no instructions. The link to the youtube page didn’t help as my specific cage wasn’t on there.

Adorable but this 5x2 seems a little smaller than the standard/other 5x2 Kavee liners that I’ve gotten. Poops in the pattern are cute but it makes it slightly more difficult to notice actual poops 😂 still love it though :)

This mushroom is super cute, but is too heavy and often ends up tipped over in the enclosure, particularly when the guinea pigs are hopping out of it. The other Kavee huts are way more stable!

I bought 2 cooling mats for my guinea pigs outdoor habitat. I thought a neat idea and way to help keep my pigs cool during the hot days of summer. However, my pigs won’t get on the mat. No matter if I place them on it to try and show them what it is. However if you can get you pigs to get on the mat I do believe it would help keep them cool. The mats cool to the touch and I bet if refrigerated it could help cool ur pigs for hours.

It is not a very stable cage. You cannot move it without it falling apart, and the lid does not completely close. Very disappointing for the cost and the starting nurse is absolutely awful.

This cage works well. Difficult assembly; doesn’t feel super sturdy; chloroplast base often catches on the bars on the side so it pushes it wider and the lid doesn’t rest squarely on the base. Also when the lid leans open against the wall it doesn’t stay well and sometimes slams down while we are trying to clean or replace hay or handle the pets. The bars don’t line up uniformly on each square too so it just isn’t a super clean finished look. It’s a fine cage, just not 5 Star.
