I am so happy I found Fitzroy! I was tired of paying so much money for a dress to wear it once. I rented the dress as I had a broken leg and had to perform with a cast. I wanted to cover it and feel more comfortable. So I did and my first rental experience was very positive. I will definitely do.it again. The only thing is that for touring artists the price gets in the way as we cannot return it in a short time. So even if we need it for one day we need to make the long term rental. But I will definitely do it again when performing in Toronto.

This was my first experience shopping at Fitzroy. I loved trying on all the beautiful gowns and had trouble picking out which one I wanted because there were so many good options. I visited twice, and booked this beautiful dress 2 months before my event. All the associates were very helpful and had great suggestions of dresses to try on. I had a wonderful experience and this dress was the most extravagant, special, unique and beautiful dress I've ever worn. I definitely will be coming back!

I got compliments literally all night about this dress and it was described to me as a “show stopper”! I felt like a queen in this and would 100% wear it again if it wasn’t so noticeable 😅 For reference, I’m 5’3”, 135lbs and a 27 waist. I was between a 2-4 but ended up getting the 2 to size down slightly for a tighter fit. The only downside is I wore ~4” heels and the dress still skimmed the floor slightly - if you’re on the shorter side you’ll need big heels to help with the length.

Loved the dress and the Fitzroy experience! Got lots of compliments on this dress, everyone loved the colour. Based on my measurements and the stylist’s feedback that the dress fits small, I opted to size up to a size 6. Im normally a size 4 / 34D but wanted to be more comfortable. The size 6 worked well, it had a bit of room but wasn’t falling down.

I felt like an absolute princess in this dress. True to size and the laces in the back ensured that a bra wasn’t required. One big note. I am 5’5 and it was very long. Even with my tallest wedges it was very long. Which made for keeping an eye that it wasn’t dragging or being stepped on. The process of renting was so easy. I received so many compliments on this dress that I am thrilled that I went the rental route. I would highly recommend and would do it again in a heart beat.
