This was a stunning fit! I wore it for a New Year's Eve wedding and it was incredibly comfortable. I got a lot of compliments on the fit and the unique textured material. It fits looser in the chest, but comes in nicely at the waist. I am heavy-chested, but I didn't need to wear a bra with this (always a bonus!).

The lights were way too bright in the event space and this is a dim light dress for sure but I rocked it anyway. It was so fun that I couldn’t resist a little casually styled photo shoot. This dress runs super big. I sized down one size but should have sized down two sizes, since it was gaping at the top when I bent over. I needed lots of double-sided tape on the top!
Overall, a gorgeous dress and the rental process was seamless. I will definitely be renting again!

The two pieces were extremely flattering. You can wear the skirt higher on the waist to avoid showing midriff. I did use a little tape on the edges of the top to hold it in place. I wore my usual bra, no need for anything complicated. The occasion was an anniversary dinner and it was a perfect outfit.

We flew to Toronto from Halifax, NS, to find a Mother-of-the-Bride dress for my Daughter's wedding because Halifax's options were limited, and every single dress I ordered was either too small or too big, or just wasn't the right style. The experience of finding a dress at the Fitzroy was excellent. They helped you figure out what would work on your body. There were multiple sizes and styles. I wish there were a place like this in Halifax.

Whenever I rent from Fitzroy I always try to go for something that has that “wow”- factor. This dress certainly fits the bill. I got so many compliments on it and had the best time! One tip- it is warm- has lots of layers. No need to pack a blazer or sweater, which is helpful because it would be hard to find something worthy to pair it with!
If you’re not sure about choosing something bold like this, I say go for it! You won’t regret it!
