The rental process was easy and surprisingly fun! In love with the dress I picked! It can be a bit tricky to walk in but the zipper on the back goes both ways the entire length of the dress, so you can unzip it from the bottom as high as you like to make things easier. Got tons of compliments! Will happily rent from Fitzroy again, as pickup and drop off was a breeze.

Although it was a bit long and even when wearing heels I had to lift it up while walking around and dancing. This dress was SO comfy and soft. The velvet is stretchy, so while I'm normally a size 12 (sometimes 14 depending on the brand) I fit very comfortably in a 10 for this beauty. For the event, I paired it with a pearl necklace and earrings and a little vintage 60s clutch with a pearl clasp. I was wearing a 6, while I normally wear a size 10/12 at the Fitzroy. It fit well in all of the right places and was the perfect dress to dance in! The back of the dress is stunning too and adjustable! It was kind of booby so just be aware of that when you are seated :) I rate this dress a 12/10! Small note: I wore Boombas (sticky bra) with it because I’m a B-cup, and even the size 2’s chest area was gaping a bit. It added the perfect amount of oomph. Would definitely suggest to do the same if in the same cup/size range.
