Absolutely loved my experience at Fitzroy! I chose this dress for a black tie wedding and was complimented all night! I’m usually a size 4 but was able to get into the 2 which fit really snug but looked much better given the style and my height (5ft).

Fantastic 1st rental experience! Fitzroy staff were very helpful during my in store visits. I reserved size 14 a few weeks before my event but on the day of pickup Fitzroy was very flexible and allowed me to change to the size16. The dress was very comfortable and easy to wear. I liked the heavier fabric, I felt held in but not restricted. Highly recommend this dress to other short (5’3) pear shaped women out there.

Be ready for an avalanche of compliments if you wear this anywhere! Don’t wear anything too silky underneath! It needs a little bit of friction to stay up (on me anyway!). I tried it on wearing regular, big, cotton undies and it fit perfectly but I wore it out with something a little silky and sexy underneath and it was sliding down like crazy! I totally loved it though, as did literally every person who saw me! So many compliments, so much fun.

This is a gorgeous, head turning dress. It’s even prettier in person than in pictures. As others said, it will get you compliments! It does fit a little small in the waist (I had to size up from a 14 to 16) and it’s long, I had to wear a slight heel and I’m 5’9.

The dress fit true to size and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I did a virtual consult and had the dress shipped, such a fun experience and loved that we did the measurements to ensure I ordered the correct size. Also they were very accommodating as I am newly pregnant and the event was just around the time I would start showing, they kept in touch to make sure everything still fit well before the event. The dress itself is stunning, I got so many compliments and felt amazing in it!

Absolutely loved the dress. It was so comfortable and warm for those winter weddings. I got so many compliments and felt like an absolute Queen. The only thing that was annoying was the bodysuit bottom. It was great for coverage as the slit is high. However, when I would sit down it would sometimes unbutton but maybe because I have a bit of a booty. I would definitely wear again and in other colours too!

This gown was perfect for a black tie NYE wedding! Suggest trying on a size smaller than you think you may need, so that the bust fits as snug as possible and minimizes the need to pull it up (as it sometimes the case with strapless dresses). As a floor-length option, was worried it may run long for me (at 5'3.5) but it was great, even with shorter heels than I'd typically wear. Overall amazing! Comfy and countless compliments :) Would 100% rent again. Also the Fitzroy team rocks.

Loved this dress so much, it has a bodysuit inside making it super comfy. It does run big and the elastic around the waste is very forgiving so I found that my regular size felt loose, specifically in the torso. I’m usually a size 8, this is a 6 and I probably could have gotten away with the 4! If you find the torso a little bulky like I did, you can tighten the ties at the neck which made a significant difference. Perfect length with some platform heels! Complimented all night long, and I snapped necks as I walked to the venue! This dress is the one for you if you love your legs because the slit is high! There is a train, and it is so elegant, but it means that you will need to hold the dress while dancing. It is so comfortable and the ruching is extra flattering. 10/10 made me feel gorgeous!
