I must say I was anxious at first but your quality is spot on the only thing that I was a bit disappointed with was the size of the pouch which I now have a couple of if but it was a little bit bigger I might be more interested, doesn’t seem to fit very good having a hard time getting it to zip up.

I have had the black beard fire sticks for a few years,also a ferro rod that I ordered from Amazon. When I seen a ad for the fire plugs I had to try them,ordered from Amazon again,2 packs of them. Then I seen the coffers and I had to have a few plus a new organizer as I have worn the one I had out. I love all the Black Beard products ,they are the best. Super nice, convenient kit! I’ve never used a ferro rod before. It was super simple; just scrape the black off the rod, and slide the tool down the rod at 45 degrees, with force. I haven’t gotten it to light the rope material yet, despite several tries. It’s my first time; I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. I landed a few big sparks on it too. Regardless, I am happy with the product. I’ll have to try the plugs eventually too. And probably get the arc lighter 😅. Lol

Tried out the fire plugs and arc lighter while on a jet boat fishing/camping trip in Alaska. Also had the ferry rod but didn’t need it. This really is the ultimate field fire starter kit.
Most companies, when you get a ferro rod included in a bundle, it's a tiny one. I'm not ashamed to admit that my skills with a ferro rod are pretty mediocre. Good enough to get a fire going in the rain with a large ferro rod and some birch, carefully thread shaved wood, or similar, but not skilled enough to do the same with the common small ferro rods.
For Black Beard to include larger ferro rods in their bundle kits is great.

High quality items and kit! This is going to be my go-to for a long while. The rechargeable plasma lighter is excellent! Paired with a small pocket knife and a solar charger, this kit will be in my every-day camping and a second one in my emergency survival kit. Reliably starting a warming and cooking fire will no longer be of any real concern.

Haven’t had a need yet, but “new toy!” hit me. Lit one in the driveway, in the rain and wind, with the arc lighter and it burned till gone. My guess is, they’ll work in the woods at the campsite, too.

I am sorry about the cheesy video. But I am very happy with the product it does what they say it will do and even more. As you can see it lights very easily and even after getting wet you can re light. The waxy outer shell keeps it completely dry until you crack it open.
