Previously bought the fire starters, the arc lighter and the ferro rod. This organizer bag keeps all my fire starting equipment organized in one place. It has two deep pockets to hold the fire starters and the arc and charging cables. There are multiple elastic holders for extra storage. This makes it very easy to find everything to start a fire. It is a nice heavy duty zip bag. I have it attached to my bugout bag.

Loving all the products that we've purchased so far. My wife and I are putting Blackbeard Firestarters in both of our bugout bags. It's said you should have 3 different methods of starting a fire and with the plama lighter, ferro rod, fire ropes, stormproof matches, and fireplugs that we now have. Amazing product, quality material. I know the fire plugs will last me a long time, I really love the the bag it comes with, it’s super easy to load everything up and take it on the go. In the video I showed me in a pitch black room and striking the Ferro rod and was able to see it throws really nice bright and hot sparks. Planning on ordering I couple more things from them. Wow, fire! Couple strikes with ferro rod and poof, a blazing fire in seconds. Amazing. I liked so much, I ordered another kit for my brother. Can't wait to try it out in the wind and rain. I was just going to throw these matches in a car kit. I decided I should probably at least look at them. I was impressed with the container, small and sturdy. Then I opened it up. The matches were strong and covered with a waxy coating. It also included striking surfaces. After seeing them, I made sure to add one to each car kit! Oh, and I tried them out. They worked as advertised. Great product.

I figured this starter was nothing more than another over the top lighter. WELL, was I ever shocked to find you can recharge it, use it in wet conditions, annd it actually does as advertised. What a fantastic purchase. My plan now is to purchase (2) more, one for my motor home, and another for my shop. I exclusively use my current one for Boy Scouts. Made a great impression to other leaders enough that they too purchased one for themselves. A truly MUST HAVE.

I purchased Black Beard Fire Starters….. the capsule is well designed, strong and the cap seals with an “o ring”…..the “storm proof” matches look exactly as advertised! On the outside of the capsule, there are two “strike plates”, one under the other….. while I haven’t had a chance to use the matches, I see no reason to expect failure….. in my opinion, the entire package looks to be top quality which gives me every reason to expect success when I do get to use them!

I'm a more hands-on person & would have preferred a hands-on book. It's easier to share with my outdoorsman brother (who loves your firestarter cord). Kinda hard to flip pages by firelight with a smartphone. But the book has some vital survival information which is good.
