I have a friend who lives in Hesperia, California. She has a wood burning fireplace and the fire plugs help her to start the fireplace.

Great looking stuff. Just what I was looking for. The cases are already loaded with a few extra items and tucked into the vehicles for the oncoming winter.

It was quick. And I hope wonderful, but we will be giving it for Christmas gifts, i don't know yet!

They work great, I use them to start the wood stove when needed. Good by searching for lighter knot in the woods 👍

I ordered the water proof matches and some fire plugs to place in my vehicles for emergency situations. They arrived quickly and as ordered.

Works fantastic sparks ignited the black beard fire starters with ease. But I laid my bag of them down and my dog decided to destroy the rest of them.

Haven’t used them yet. Accidentally bought two kits so I put one in my camper and one on my motorcycle. Thanks.

I put the black beard fire starters in both vehicle emergency kits. We'll probably never need it but it's peace of mind knowing it's always in the trunk.

It worked great. I had some damp logs and it lit the wood and started the campfire with no problem.

Bought this for my son who is in Boy Scouts, used it last weekend to start his fire. Worked perfectly.

These were on back order and causing a delay with another order. The company called and asked is were ok with recieving the first order earlier and the recieving these later. It was refreshing to be treated with some common sense and courtesy, even thought it created an extra step for them. To top it all off, every bit of it is a great product.

The matches seem like other types of waterproof matches I've used, but having them come in the plastic container makes it easier to transport them.

The companion guide was a helpful add on to my purchase. Even having military training it doesn’t hurt to have a back up source of knowledge.

My son loved the Xmas Gift, however the lighter was stolen when he was at his fire dancing practice. What a bummer.

So easy to ignite and so little is needed to start the fire. We use them even in our wood stove if wood is damp.

Great little pouch, arc lighter, and rope tender for times of need! As a big outdoorsman I love these type of products and black beard does it WELL!

I have yet to use it, but from what I’ve read it’s going to be extremely useful when I’m in the mountains.

Fantastic fit and finish. I haven't embarked on any adventures with it yet, but I have tested the combustion components. Solid!

Had to test everything out a little. Rope works real nice. Sand the Ferrous rod a little before use and its all some pretty good stuff.

The order took longer than I’d hoped and I missed a camp-out where I think this kit would’ve excelled; stayed the night through a thunderstorm on a mountaintop and soaked everything. Bummer. But every day in the woods is a good day. All told, the kit is everything advertised. Appears to be high quality on all items, and this combined with the demos I’ve seen of the fire starters has me psyched to hopefully make this my go-to kit for future adventures. Stay wild.

I like the small bag. It could be a bit bigger, like 1/4in. I worry the zipper will break over time. The higher is awesome! Pros and cons, As also something that needs to be charged you have to be proactive when heading out on a hike. The material lites very quickly. I'll be testing it more before I have 100% confidence in the material but I'm sure it'll be up to the challenges. :)

I have tried multiple types and like the blackbeard firestarters. Very easy to use and lights easily with multiple ways to start it ablaze.

Will be using these in a few days. If they work anything like I've seen in videos, it'd be great!

Easy to use once the coating is scratched up some. Feel good knowing I’ve got a quick way to have a fire anywhere at anytime

I love the rechargeable lighter. Great for my emergency bag. I feel confident that it will work when needed, and the carrying case for everything is a great touch.

I bought some of the fire plugs and they really work. My son was excited about how easy you can start a fire with a few sparks.
