They were running a buy 3, get 3 free special on these fire sticks, so I finally jumped and bought some to try out. First trip was in heavy snow and starting a fire was a piece of cake. My hands were wet, and there was already a small amount of snow that had fallen on the spot I was starting my fire. It took me a few shots with the ferro rod because my aim is bad 😂 But it lit right up and burned for a long time. Definitely going to carry one of these with me on my trips!

I bought the arc lighter, and fire plugs for the first week of duck season on an island in Northern Maine, right on the boarder. There is NO service and no one around so things have to work! It works in the snow! I recently took a trip to Lytle creek offroad trails and when we found a good day camp spot it was in the snow. I used the starter and the lighter and they worked amazingly! I bought the Blackbeard StormProof Matches for hiking trips and just in case situations. I bought them with some apprehension that they would not work that good. I was very impressed with them. They work as advertised. I did notice that they burn longer if you keep the match held upright, I.e., vertical versus horizontal (This seems to be the case with most matches).
Anyways, great matches, well worth the purchase.

Fantastic product, 15 or so mins after using your product to start a fire at a campground, it was good to go as you can see in the picture.
My better half who usually starts the fire was duly impressed, no need for a whole bunch of work and fire was ready to go.

Plug worked with just a tiny spark when used as directed, and burned for over 5 minutes. The tinder box seems to keep them dry, but I haven't put it to any kind of test. Plan on buying another for a 2nd survival kit in the wife's vehicle, but don't have any social media or YouTube account to post on to get the discount offer that came with my first order.

These things started a fire in my fireplace for me by using one and stacking a small stack of tiny twigs on top of it and then some kenneling. It had that fire blazing in 20 minutes. We have a wood pellet stove. I cut a yellow stick into 3 pieces and use one to start the stove. No more lighter fluid, gel starter, any of those smells. I have never had to try and restart the stove since I’ve used these. Thank you. This may not be how you intended for it to be used but it really works great.

Here’s the thing. I ha rushed gas station fire wood to my detriment, so not I typically cut, split and dry firewood with my father in law for better quality fires. Maybe this first try with the plugs is because I use better wood, maybe it because i use newspaper interweaved in the stack to help hold flame, or maybe it because its a solid product but this was the fastest and easiest fire pit fit I have ever lit, it was an instantaneous difference.

Best fire tinder/starters I've ever used hands-down. They ignite super fast and burn hotter for much longer than any other I've used.
Good to have these on hand for camping or SHTF, but sometimes it's nice to use high quality tinder like these for nothing more than a simple fire pit in the backyard on a chilly day!

I’ve been using Vaseline with cotton balls for a long time. A few years back, I discovered squeezing them into a big straw and sealing the ends. I thought that was pretty freaking cool … but these Fire Plugs are really fantastic. They light with everything I use … flint striker, mag rod, magnifying glass … I love these things!!!!
