I bought this lamp for my business, a daycare. The kids think it's cool. I walk by it 50X a day and look at each time. It brightens up the room especially during the winter when it starts getting dark early. I love that the salt is certified to come from the Himalayan region in Pakistan.

The grey ‘rare’ lamp I gave as s gift is very dim in comparison. I will probably trade this one for that one since my son likes the pink lighting better. The only bummer is that I can not exchange the grey one for a pink one with Himalayan Company. Plus, you guys need to step it up on packaging. They are not arriving in good shape protection wise. Don’t be ‘chintzy’.

I got this lamp as a gift. It is beautiful!! After a few years my cord stopped working. I looked at the bottom of the salt rock and found Himalayan salt co. and ordered a replacement cord. It came in quickly, but failed to work. I contacted them about the defective cord and they replaced it immediately! Just wonderful. Now I'm enjoying my beautiful salt lamp again...all day, every day!! Thank you.

Wow! What a lovers dream! Warm pink and orange glow really sets a calming or romantic mood. I imagine with a few of these in a small room you could even ditch the LED's for a circadian rhythm friendly nighttime lighting, but one is great. Love mine.
