Much more sturdy than OEM rails…no comparison! Highly recommend if you are going to be installing any equipment to your WJ roof. No interference with the sunroof either. This job isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you take your time, it is well worth it.

Went in easy enough as I had everything at the front removed for a total AC & water pump replacement. Found about a 1/4" gap at the top/side bolts between winch mount & frame rails so placed washers there so as to not stress the frame channel. The bottom plate mounts all lined up perfectly & a Badlands winch completed the install.

Great hitch! I sanded it down and shot it with bedliner a few times. Tolerances are TIGHT. I would recommend adding slotted holes in the plate that mounts to the frame to have a little adjustment room. Was unable to get 1 bolt in on the left side by literally about a 1/16 of an inch. I will pull it off eventually and drill the hole out a little more. Other than that it is a great product!

Hitch is built like a tank. Wife was shocked at what ford installed as a factory hitch. Install was a breeze. Had one bolt hole a little off. Bolt it up loose get the 4 frame bolts started. Install the 4 crossmember bolts and tighten everything. Id like to see the safety chain eyelets a little larger. Will make hooking chains up easier as well as installing the hitch pin easier
