was disappointed the mounting bracket was plastic I was expecting a metal bracket. the nozzle sent with the reel seems Bargain-basement like but we will see. The hose retracts very well and holds the hose in place once set. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5

I purchased the 78' Garden Hose Reel, and I love it! It is fun to use! I had used competitors auto hose reels over the years, and they worked okay for a few years, but eventually failed to recoil. My new 78' Garden Hose Reel recoil mechanism works really well, and I am sure it will outlast the competitor’s models. I am considering purchasing another Garden Hose Reel.

I love how easy they are to use and retract. However make sure they are in a stud! Very, very heavy. Empty water out of hose and leave nozzle open. Weight from water left in hose puts strain on bolts holding it. Love this hose.

Really like the hose reel that I purchased from you, it works realty well. When the hose is pulled out it locks in place as it should, then when retracting back it guides the hose back in without any bunching up of the hose. Really Nice. Highly recommended.

I ordered this for one of our departments at work and we received it about a year ago. They use it hard in an industrial setting which I know it wasn’t exactly designed for, but they have no complaints. It’s easy and simple to maintain and install. They like it so much that other departments have started asking for them too! Do I still need to say something more

Have not used the hoses as of today. But I do like the hoses compared to my fathers Craftsman Rubber hoses which I needed to replace all cause , every time you handle them your hands turned black. If I like how they perform I will replace 2 more.

Finally got a chance to use my new Grandfalls pressure washer yesterday. Was very convenient having everything hooked up and ready to use instead of having to drag out my old pressure washer and hooking everything up. Washer worked great cleaning 3 cars using the high pressure nozzle and foam cannon. Hose reel was especially convenient and hose reeled out to the length I needed without kinking.

This was one of several reels I bought from Giraffe. The reels are well made and hopefully long lived. My compliment is mostly to CUSTOMER SERVICE who responded 100% solid with my problem on this reel. A shipping or manufacture error allowed for an unsolvable leak. Great Customer Service ... I ordered several versions of the hose reels for installation around our property. They work very well. But I did have a problem crop up with retraction. I was late responding with photos but Customer Service responded with 100% support and replaced the errant reel. No fuss. No other option. Just REPLACE no hassle. I enjoy the reels. they take a lot of effort off my yard work that is more recently limited due to medical issues.

The customer service for this company is remarkable! Long story short, a hose reel was gifted to us, and we needed a replacement bracket. Took a few times to get the right bracket sent to us, but the company never neglected prompt service. Then unfortunately, the hose reel snapped in the bracket and they sent us a whole new reel and bracket no questions asked. Highly recommend.

I read the reviews of so many of these retractable hoses and felt the price point was something I could try. My install is in a garage, on the finished drywall. I had a piece of wood that was wide enough to hold the bracket and found some good threaded, short bolts that would hold it onto the board. Pre drilled three holes and mounted the board to a stud, then the bracket to the board. Now I have a nice clean install inside my garage. The hose comes out very nicely and no leaks anywhere. Installed this reel on my most used exterior hose bibbs. I absolutely love it and not having to manually wrap it around the old holder is great. I'm going to buy a 2nd base to mount it next to the other hose faucet on the back of the house to move it when I need to use it.
