Purchased this in January 24, I knew it would take a few months to get it. As soon as i received it, i started to use it. Initially I planned to use it to clean the car interior, but since mounting it on the garage wall, i use it all over the garage to clean up after working on projects. Overall an amazing unit. Wow-what a great company even after the sale! We loved our Giraffe tools garden hose reel for its ease of use and perfect performance! Sadness came when the ccompression fitting, where the hose met and like a bulging disc bowed out and sprung a pin leak til eruption. No worries from Customer Support, when we requested to purchase a new fitting, they replaced the entire unit! We expected a box with 2 ends but a new hose was delivered quickly and without issue. The Giraffe hose reel arrived in great shape - double boxed. It is compact, but well made, weighing twenty pounds. I own several other Giraffe products, including their wall mount pressure washer and a couple garden hose reels, and have always found Giraffe to be a dependable consumer grade import manufacturer, but the pressure washer reel exceeded my expectations. Really nice quality! However the mounting hardware it comes with is useless.. go to Home Depot and buy tapcon screws.. get 3/8in and drill it into the cement. If going into drywall. Get drywall anchors. Not the cheap ones that comes with it. The only other negative is the piece of junk nozzle it comes with. It restricts the flow of water that a 5/8in hose already restricts enough. I wish this came in 3/4 but do yourself a favor and get another nozzle. Other than that this is really smooth. Very ...

I think this reel is definitely competitive with much more expensive units. This is my third. I have Kobalt, Goodyear, and this one. The hose seems to be good quality, and the lead-in is the same. It appears the hose is user-replaceable, which is great because the first thing to go wrong with these reels is the actual hose.
