Vacuum works good, suction works well throughout entire hose length. Mounting was easy but I used 2x4s as a bracket since mounting hoke did not exactly align with studs. Great selection of attachments. Manual could detail a little more on actual operation such as how to store wand device and how to prevent hose from rolling back up when only needing a shorter length. Overall, Great product!

My reels are in a southern facing installation. Anything I can do to protect them from direct sun is tops to me. These covers are perfect! Even if the sun destroys them in several years I will gladly replace them to maintain the integrity of the reels. Never mind the upside down top cover. It was temporary and now is correctly installed.

Great product. Love the 5/8's since it gives us more pressure than the 1/2". Actually mounted it on a pre installed post that I had from an old Frontgate retractable hose. Bolt pattern fit for upper bolts. Had to drill and improvise the lower 2 holes. Will likely order another hose and replace another frontgate retractable hose.

Bought this to try and make some things in the truck shop easier to clean. Its not as powerful as the gas pressure washer out in the wash bays, but it allows for us to clean the trucks as we work on our projects. We have also utilized it for some shop cleaning as the 100ft hose gets us around the shop. It is so nice to have it all wind up back into the unit and store out of the way. Makes on demand cleaning so easy now.

So far no issues. Hose stops and retracts when hose is pulled. Plenty of pressure for pressure washing a concrete driveway. Excellent for washing vehicles. The soap dispenser is okay, get yourself a foam cannon if you want to apply a heavy soap to your vehicle.

I just received my order and installed. It's definitely as advertised. Instalation was a breeze, even though I installed onto concrete hardie board. The reel works great and the hose is light enough for my wife to use with ease. I also have the Giraffe air hose and electrical cord reels and the quality of the water hose reel is as expected. I would definitely recommend.

Very nice heavy duty reel. The hose "retrieve" mechanism is fantastic as it automatically moves the hose back and forth on the reel making it easy to retrieve the 100 ft. of hose that I have. The only caution I have is that for those that are mounting this on a hollow stucco wall like mine, you will need some heavy duty "T" or toggle bolts to hold the reel securely in place. It was not a big deal for me to make work as I am fairly handy, but could be a surprise and possible struggle for some.

This is such an awesome tool. I would use a sunjoe powerwash for my cars and it was just such an annoying process to setup and a wash would take minimum 1 hr. Now, as you can see from my picture, the unit is setup and ready to go. A good decent wash now takes me 10 to 15 minutes (witch contact wash). After installing the pressure washer the name tag fell off and I noticed the Leader (which spools the hose back & forth on the reel) was advanced by about 4 inches. So I had to take it apart to adjust it. Be aware that if you do this you have to take a gear off to get to the belt. In doing so you’ll release the spring tension that spools the hose back up. Other than that it’s been a fine working machine.

I have a hose real from Frontgate in my back yard which came with the house when we bought it. The new one from Giraffe is far superior. It winds up the hose faster and it has a larger diameter hose. I highly recommend it. I may eventually swap out the Frontgate one for another Giraffe hose reel

I have had many cheap power washers over the years but this one seems to me to be the best. I mounted a piece of 3/4” plywood on my garage wall to properly support the vacuum. Instructions should be clearer as to mounting height and points of attachment.
