I love mine . I own 3 of them . I have only one issue with them , it needs a way to keep the birds from building nests inside them . Any ideas would help . I have a plan to use a brush mounted to the top to cover the opening but the hose will still move side to side .

I ordered the Giraffe Tools Retractable Hose Reel for our driveway.This reel comes with 4 stakes for garden mount (you need a hammer to set those into the ground), or screws for drilling into concrete (for that, you'd need a 12mm drill to drill 1-31/32" deep holes, and a heavy duty drill with a socket attachment to set these. - per the instructions).I opted to secure this into the ground (dirt) under a tree in our driveway. So far, this has been a really helpful way to keep the hose clutter down. Of course, a primary concern is longevity. Most people don’t want to spend over 200 on a new hose. Seems like a lot that could go wrong, not least of all some spring failing, making this thing worthless really quickly. I’m betting on their reputation, which most companies these days don’t seem to care about. I can only hope they will.
