Great product. Love the 5/8's since it gives us more pressure than the 1/2". Actually mounted it on a pre installed post that I had from an old Frontgate retractable hose. Bolt pattern fit for upper bolts. Had to drill and improvise the lower 2 holes. Will likely order another hose and replace another frontgate retractable hose.

We sunk a 6X6 7’ treated post into our lovely clay with cement and gravel fill. Let it set for a couple of days. Lots of rain. Screwed the metal bracket to the post. Hooked up the hose. No leaks. Love how it came out. Wanted to set up a hand pump on top but I’m thinking a solar cap light instead.

I was skeptical at first about this vacuum with the power and the longer hose. Not any more! This thing is awesome! Such a huge space saver in my already crowded garage. I find i clean my cars more often given how simple it is to just unwind the hose, and turn this on from the remote handle. Well worth it for me!

I have a hose real from Frontgate in my back yard which came with the house when we bought it. The new one from Giraffe is far superior. It winds up the hose faster and it has a larger diameter hose. I highly recommend it. I may eventually swap out the Frontgate one for another Giraffe hose reel

This is such an awesome tool. I would use a sunjoe powerwash for my cars and it was just such an annoying process to setup and a wash would take minimum 1 hr. Now, as you can see from my picture, the unit is setup and ready to go. A good decent wash now takes me 10 to 15 minutes (witch contact wash). After installing the pressure washer the name tag fell off and I noticed the Leader (which spools the hose back & forth on the reel) was advanced by about 4 inches. So I had to take it apart to adjust it. Be aware that if you do this you have to take a gear off to get to the belt. In doing so you’ll release the spring tension that spools the hose back up. Other than that it’s been a fine working machine.

Love this hose reel. When you get fat and older, it sure beats a hose box to wrestle with. We have vinyl siding so we mounted on a painted cedar 4x4, and it looks great in the front and back. Caution the 1/2 in hose you will suffer a little bit of water pressure. Install is easy, but the bracket doesn’t have a relief area for a socket when tightening the lag bolts. A minor design flaw and the bracket got chewed up by the sidewall of the socket. Overall, this is a must buy and a true luxury item!

I love the 2-wheeled stainless steel hose cart! It arrived very quickly (2-3 days). It was easy to assemble. Just be careful as some edges are sharp. I got 100’ of hose so it fit very well. No leaks! Easy to crank, with no tangles. Highly recommended!

I originally ordered it for the replacement deck I built on the back but it was a little bigger than I expected, no problem replaced old hand cranked model out front and with the 65ft of hose it reaches all the front areas that it needs to. Wife loves the thumb control on the sprayer too, she can water all her plants with ease and then let the hose retract.

This is my second hose reel from Giraffe. The first one replaced one I had from Front Gate. The plastic reel holder just started ripping and finally the hose dropped to the ground! I contacted Front Gate and no response. My second hose from Giraffe was slightly damaged. I contacted them and they were great. They responded right away and were very pleasant. This is a company I will continue to but from. Excellent products, quality and service. What more could you want. I give them a A+

Really nice quality! However the mounting hardware it comes with is useless.. go to Home Depot and buy tapcon screws.. get 3/8in and drill it into the cement. If going into drywall. Get drywall anchors. Not the cheap ones that comes with it. The only other negative is the piece of junk nozzle it comes with. It restricts the flow of water that a 5/8in hose already restricts enough. I wish this came in 3/4 but do yourself a favor and get another nozzle. Other than that this is really smooth. Very ...

I installed and used for first time. Had leak and motor issues. Contacted support and they were right on it to send me a new one. Easy to hook up my disconnects to it. Have not gotten to use it with my foam cannon due to being 100 degrees here lately in Northern CA.

Great unit, Easy to Install, the overall quality of the unit seems very good, I used this to replace a 100' standard hose that we use daily. I do recommend a solid mounting area, as this is a Heavy hose retract unit, I mounted on a Block wall, worked out great.
