This cage came well packaged. No issues there. The instructions were a bit weird to follow so I put it together without them. It was easy. I just did it a different way than they suggested. The enclosure came packaged in probably what I would consider the most secured packing I’ve seen, and it was fairly easy to set up— the only minor complaint was there was no real instructions. I own a black box enclosure and bought one of these hides. It quickly became apparent that it was Moose’s favourite hide, so I bought two additional ones to put in different temp zones so he wouldn’t just stay on the hot side! These cages are absolutely beautiful! They maintain humidity and a perfect temperature gradient very well. Before upgrading to this enclosure, my daughter would have to use a step stool, climb onto her dresser, to then reach in to get her snake out. It was certainly less than ideal. Perfect hide for my 23 year old ball python. He is a big male. Approximately 4ft or a tad longer and over 2,600 grams. His previous hoses were just plastic containers with a cut hole.
